Anyone actually got this to work properly on android, (Black screen) 3 different devices, none of which work properly. Yes I know the Googled answer of install an older version, but this didnt work either (no street view).Just wondered.

I found Street view available as a separate app in the Play store for devices running Android 4.4 Kit kat and above.

Lack of RAM on the devices? Its rather memory hungry and i hated the dektop version of google maps for the same reason.

It went from fairly lightweight in its resource needs considering the content to a bloated why have they ruined it.
For a while you could run the classic view but they phased that out.

The new version of google maps = slow and bloated, half the town names only show up at certain zoom ratio's.
Punctuation, Spelling and Grammar will be used sparingly. Due to rising costs of inflation.

My contribution to MSE. Other contributions will only be used if they cost me nothing.

Due to me being a tight git.

android, (Black screen) 3 different devices
    Which devices?! What Android version?!
Google Earth is pretty graphics intensive so if they're all ancient no-name rubbish, you might be out of luck.
