    The random Odd Thoughts Thread is a thread for random odd thoughts.

    Eg........

    I think that the letter U should come after Q in the alphabet.

    It is joined at the hip to Q in words, so they must get traumatised by being split apart in the alphabet, a bit like swans wot mate for life.

    Southport is a large seaside town in the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton, Merseyside, England. During the 2001 census, Southport was recorded as having a population of 90,336, making it the eleventh most populous settlement in North West England.

    According to my Calendar 'Southport' is a grimy street with a few cars going up and down it..It is about as tantalising to me as a cold weekend in Cleethorpes.
