    Aldi - not a heathy option 700 calories! 4th Oct 16 at 6:26 PM
I been a fan for over a year of a salad bowl sold by Aldi. Chicken salad with mango sauce, a chicken and bacon version etc. They were £1.49 and a bargain as a work lunch. Obviously popular as most folk in my local store seemed to have them in their trollies.
They have been changed - new packaging - its ok, 20p more expensive - fine, they were a bargain even with that. But the difference is the change in the content - they all now have pasta and very rich mayo - with nearly 700 calories where they used to be 2 or 300. I mean how do you even get 700 calories in a salad bowl that's half filled with lettuce and grated carrot
Really unhappy with the change so tweeted my feedback and got a reply that suggested I've given them a compliment! (closed twitter feed so viewers can't see our tweets - only their replies) Patronising pill*cks.
