    Halloween Animals!

Halloween Animals! 2nd Oct 16 at 4:47 PM
It's my favourite season, my favourite day at the end of it - and next year, I'm getting married on 31st October (much to my amazement ).

So, obviously, we're talking about important things - like what any animals would wear if they were attending. Elsien's Gitdog would definitely rock a few of these whilst harrassing the venue cat, eating the decorations and gatecrashing the vows with his own version - but please add some more!

I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

Halloween outfit is the one thing we haven't got. Bear with us till I get the chance to raid poundland.

Kinda playing around with ideas of a 50s type dress covered with black lace or something New Orleans-y, as the place will be decked out with lanterns, vines, etc and the food will be (cheap) things like gumbo, rice, veggie/vegan food, beignets, etc, rather than a fancy sit down type of thing. It's going to be a party with good food and musicians, more than a Beautiful Brides Magazine photoshoot, as long as it doesn't look like we're getting married in Poundland...

But the dress probably depends more upon what can be found in a charity shop and souped up/bodged/made to fit. I'm not spending hundreds we don't have on something that's going to be worn once.

Other people wearing fancy dress sounds fantastic. Just as long as the future FIL doesn't decide his Rocky Horror costume is appropriate for the occasion

Jojo It sounds such fun. Charity shop yes. My friend got married in a charity shop dress. It took me weeks to sew pink pearls onto it. I made her veil - all covered in pink pearls, little tiny ones in the palest pink. Weddings can cost the earth. I found the posted gown on a site for Halloween bridle gowns - can't even guess the price tag. Rocky Horror for him, oh no. The special undies are for us gals.
