Pay ALL your debt off by Xmas 2016 - Part 2 24th Sep 16 at 8:32 AM
Welcome to PART 2 OF Pay ALL Your Debt Off By Xmas 2016!

Firstly I would like to apologise, to everyone from part 1, who thought they were going mad when they couldn't find the thread. It seems that the thread has been deleted. I have no idea why, I did contact the admins but heard nothing back from them. Not only did they take away our thread, they took away my post count.

Now to get back to our debt busting.
Anyone is welcome to join this challenge and it is NEVER too late. There is also no amount of money too small or too large that will stop you from joining this challenge. We have several members who will be on their debt journey for several years to come, but they are part of this thread to pay off a fixed amount of their debt as the support on here is fantastic!
So, if you think you can pay off all your debts by Christmas or have a goal to pay off a certain amount then please join in!

This challenge runs until 26th December 2016.

To help me run this thread easily, could you please all post your totals in large text and in a bold colour.

It would also be a big help if you could also put with it your challenge number.
i.e. another £50 paid off so now the total for

    #001 is £315.43/£7685.67
By the way, don't worry about working out your % paid as I can do that for you!

    Hi Muppets
Forgot to check in last month, so I'm a couple of weeks late
    #69 £4,614/£9,972
Not going to get there for Christmas but hoping to make a good dint in it and then carry on into the new year. I've managed to consolidate my debts into 1 0% Credit Card so I'm just going to make as many extra payments as poss on to this card. The positive thing about doing this is I'm saving more for big ticket items and not putting them on a credit card. I've learnt the hard way, but once its paid off I plan to continue my debt free ways.
Wins so far Designer Wedding Dress,IPod Nano,£50 Meal Voucher,Family Photoshoot,Trampoline, Earrings, Week in a cottage, A years supply of Kiddilicious, Board Game, £25 Clothes Voucher, 4 Easter Eggs, £10 coffee shop voucher, £12 cash, Tube scarf, Ice Age bundle

I am already looking forward to next years challenge if it will be running

Everyone has done so well and it certainly helps to keep you on track when you update every penny you pay off and you can see your total building.

    Keep going everyone

    Good evening all,
Another payment from me of £133.33, making my totals now:-

    #74 £5026.55/£7000 71.81%

I don't think I'm going to manage the full amount by Christmas as I have 3 unexpected bills land on me in this last month totalling over £1000, so I am paying this off alongside my existing debt. I am going to give my target a good go though, and have some things on ebay as we speak to try and get there!

    LBM 1.1.16 = £27096.59 - now £21,154.59
    Paydbx 2016 - £5942.00/£7000 = 84.88% - number 74

Seems like it's been a long month, probably because I did another BT and so there was no payment to speak of. What I did do for this first month is pay the minimum, in order to allow my bank account to recover and not go so deep into my overdraft. I've had an overdraft text, but it was only for a fiver and it's payday on Tuesday so hopefully that has worked!
