Highview Parking (Tesco) 22nd Sep 16 at 8:36 AM
    Hi MSE,

Any help would be greatly appreciated! The letter states 'Charge Notice' and they are willing to accept £40 if paid writhin 14 days there are also pictures of the vehicle.

I'm just wondering what the best course of action is, this is the first letter we have received - should we ignore, pay or appeal?!

Just to give you abit of background, there was a covering letter on the front of the charge notice on Tesco headed paper saying there was another occasion they did not write to us as a gesture of good will.

The carpark is near the drivers new workplace so there is at least another 3 occasions where they have parked in the carpark.

    Many thanks,
    Jordan

There is a page on here for this and I believe it is under parking charges or invoices for newbies.

You need to ask what is their involvement in this invoice/charge.

    Do not admit to anything.

    QUESTION:
Does Tesco now own Highview parking to scam motorists.

Was the letter signed and if so by whom. Was it a photocopy of the Tesco headed paper ?

PS: Parking companies do not do "gesture of goodwill"

should we ignore, pay or appeal?!
Appeal using the NEWBIES FAQs thread template (blue writing appeal for BPA members). That gets you a POPLA code and appellant registered keepers win at POPLA if you take our advice; no saying who was driving!
PCN in a private car park in England/Wales? DON'T PAY IT BUT DO NOT IGNORE IT

USE THE 'FORUM JUMP' ON RIGHT, GO TO THE PARKING TICKETS FORUM. READ THE 'NEWBIES' THREAD.
Do NOT read old advice to ignore, unless in Scotland/NI.
