Big Broadband warehouse? 14th Sep 16 at 6:53 PM
I was comparing prices of fibre broadband and came across a company called "Big Broadband warehouse" 38mb 18 month contract and the price is good too so I phoned up. The guy I spoke to said I would be dealing with him directly and anytime I rang it would be him I would be speaking to. I thought this must be a small company...anyway I wanted to know if anyone here had had experience with this company. Their info came up when searching a well known comparison site so I guess they must be vetted?

17 pounds a month line rental seems quite a lot - I would be wary of any provider that insists you rent their (often overpriced) line. Also why a 2 year lock in?

I dont know why 2 years lock in but I wouldn't mind paying 22 a month for 2 years anyway.

the worry about a lock in would be getting out if the service was poor such as peak hour slowdowns, bad latency, packet loss and suchlike as well as "traffic shaping" which is the work of the devil!

I transfered my service from EE to the Big Broadband Warehouse. I signed up for their 76Mbs Fiber-Optic broadband with weekend calls for £12 a month plus £16.99 line rental.

I had a couple of problems at the beginning of the service, I don't know who's fault, but everything is fine now, I'm getting 74.3Mbs. Thanks David.
