Smile's awful new website 7th Sep 16 at 12:46 PM
In the last month Smile changed me onto their new website. The new site is a category of errors, it looks like it's been put together by someone that really doesn't understand usability. The old site wasn't pretty, but it was at least fairly straightforward and simple to use. The new site is awful.

You can see that a lot of people are having this issue if you look at the TrustPilot site for Smile:

Anyone else with Smile? I'm seriously considering changing accounts as it's that bad. I sent a complaint via their secure messaging but haven't yet heard back. Anyone had any response from them?

Looks like the weekend's 'scheduled maintenance' has started early, this morning I get the message 'Sorry, we're having technical difficulties' (that's Co-op, not Smile, though they're probably the same).

Just had the following reply to my query:

    Thanks for your message.

I'm sorry for any confusion, this is an error and our IT department are currently investigating
this further to hopefully have this resolved ASAP.

We greatly appreciate feedback as that's how we can learn and improve going forward. You can also
tell us about anything you'd like us to look at or change through the 'Leave feedback' link
towards the top right of our homepage. This will go directly to our development team.

Once again I'm sorry for any confusion this has caused.

Please let me know if there's anything else I can help with.

    Kind regards,

You couldn't make this up could you?

Why would you bank with smile anyway?

    Goodbye Smile!
As there appears to have been no action to resolve the major issues with the website, I've now begun the process of applying for an account with top-rated First Direct.

So, goodbye Smile! You're no longer the person I fell in love with.
