Dorset cereals 5th Sep 16 at 9:50 PM
Is anyone else has won some cereals on spin to win dorset cereals competition? I won on 11/08/16 and still waiting. I contacted them a week ago and they said it can take up to 28 days to deliver prize according to their t&c. They promised it last week. Now they dont answer to emails...

They're quite slow with prizes - am sure there was a similar post on here 6-ish months ago.

I did win once too but can't remember how long it took.

    Well done

    Jx
2016 wins: ESPA gift set; jumper; lip balm x 2; kitchen scales; perfume; shoes; theatre tickets; Champagne; books; After Eights; Diet Coke; Molton Brown duo; fish slice; travel set

Won on the 11th, without even taking the Bank Holiday into account it's still not due and you chased them a week ago, cannot be a surprise they don't want to spend more time responding.

You waited around 19 days before chasing it up and a bank holiday was included in that. Then you say they told you last week it can take up to 28 days which still hasn't passed and then finally say they no longer respond to emails. This means even after they told you about the 28 days you have continued to email them. I'd be a bit miffed if i was them and probably wouldn't respond either anymore as you aren't listening to them. Just try to be patient.

The cereals always take a little while to come - about 5-6 weeks, but they always arrive.

Personally I would wait another week and then contact them again.

I would ask nicely had they forgotten to send out prize.
The person dealing with it may be on holiday etc.

I think my prize came about 5-6 weeks after winning. HTH

I have found the main problem is they send by courier and if you are not in they don't leave them. My daughter won but it was such hard work trying to get a redelivery that she gave up in the end. (they don't deliver Saturday either)
Wins 2015:- Ice cream maker, Geordie Shore DVD, Lord of the Dance tickets, Thriller tickets, 4 x books from Goodreads, Flower craft kit, Hotwheels play set, Barry M Make-up, Handbag, travel mug.

I have to admit that their customer service in relation to giving prizes is awful!!

Today, rang their office number, told the person who is dealing with it is not in so they will pass the message to him. They said the same to me before when I rang, but the problem is that that person is not returning any calls, not answering the messages!! What is the best way forward?

Allowing for the bank holiday this week is the earliest I would have sent an e-mail and then allowed a week for a response.

I think you have sent more e-mails for this one small prize (I have never phoned to chase one up) than I have in total from well over 500 prizes won and received - I can count on the fingers of one hand the number I have needed to follow up.

One week between emails was allowed for them to answer. Its just bad customer care on their side. First ever email to them was just to ask if they got the details of where to send out the prize.

You may not have noticed but they are in the middle of a product recall because some of the allergens information has not been "bolded" correctly on the boxes, even if this does not involve whatever your boxes are it is probably where their priorities are at the moment.

  • If you know you're bust you must declare it asap. So no firm ever says "yes we plan to go insolvent". So you never? https://t.co/w8aIKOqHzq

  • Some people misreading... it's NOT the rumours of insolvency of the Monarchy! Its Monarch airlines (again tho I've no idea of its validity)

  • Also re #monarchinsolvency rumours it's important to state Monarch are firmly denying it... https://t.co/N27MENRjY9
