Williams & Glyn scrapped. 5th Aug 16 at 5:13 PM
RBS also called off the plan to establish Williams & Glyn as a standalone bank, scrapping the idea of floating it as an independent lender and instead reverting to an older plan to sell it to another bank.

Looks like its going to Santander.

I thought RBS England and Wales were becoming Natwest?

So the Scottish RBS branches will become Natwest as well, the end of the RBS brand?

Child & Co, Drummonds and Holt's were not part of the sell off and will still be part of RBS group. The IT systems of English branches back in June was already not able to see those three branches back

The other exceptions are Holt's Farnborough branch (161926) and London Drummonds (160038).
