Back in debt but not out 2nd Aug 16 at 6:58 AM
    Hi,

It's been over a year since I was here last.

Last time, we managed to get debt free by consolidating our debts, but due to a lot of things we are back in debt again.

This past month has brought things to a head, we've been rather stupid and things have gotten out of control.

So where are we with the debt:

    Barclaycard: £8829.88
    Overdraft: £2750.00
    Total: £11, 579.88

Ignoring the OD for the moment, as I'm not too worried about that one, I need to make headway on sorting the BC out.

Things coming up this month are:

    DD's birthday
    Pay remainder of DD's party
Pay for food at DD's party - already ordered just needs paying
    Pay for DD's cake
    School uniforms for both kids

Will post my plan in the next post, back in moment

Just had a conversation with DH as he had his 1 to 1 this morning, the upshot is that they want to get someone else in under him. They're pleased with his performance and want to reward him for it. He's going to gt a promotion and a payrise, although the promotion will be a while off the payrise should be in May, I'm so proud of him

In other news, DD's school rang regarding the Yr6 trip in June, I explained that chances are we won't be here and that DD will most likely be leaving at the end of March...she was a bit firm and asked if i'd written to the schoo to formally let them know, told her not as far as I am aware but that the Head know about it. She got all flustered then and said she'd pass on to the Head the details of our conversation As it is once we have exchanged contracts and have a moving date, I intend to email the school and let them know anyway, just out of politeness.

That's brilliant! Will your son have to move to a new cadets squad or can he commute to the one he's in now?

Blimey! Hope you've been collecting those banana boxes for packing.

Last time we had to do that it was ... go to Morrisons, buy 4 pints of milk, walk out with 6 or 7 banana boxes ... rinse and repeat We could have BUILT a house with the blessed things!

Great news though. I hope the new house is left spick and span for you!
