Back in debt but not out 2nd Aug 16 at 6:58 AM
    Hi,

It's been over a year since I was here last.

Last time, we managed to get debt free by consolidating our debts, but due to a lot of things we are back in debt again.

This past month has brought things to a head, we've been rather stupid and things have gotten out of control.

So where are we with the debt:

    Barclaycard: £8829.88
    Overdraft: £2750.00
    Total: £11, 579.88

Ignoring the OD for the moment, as I'm not too worried about that one, I need to make headway on sorting the BC out.

Things coming up this month are:

    DD's birthday
    Pay remainder of DD's party
Pay for food at DD's party - already ordered just needs paying
    Pay for DD's cake
    School uniforms for both kids

Will post my plan in the next post, back in moment

    EEEEKKKKKK!!!!! Excited squeal

The roofing quote came back quite reasonable, buyers have asked for halves, we've agreed.

    Now the exciting bit -

They want to exchange contracts by the end of the week

So....the buyers accepted £1000 which was less than they wanted but only a nominal amount so, if we exchange on Friday, it moves the moving date to the first week of the Easter Hols instead.

Got an email confirming that DS's uniform has been dispatched, just need DD's bits to be sent out.

NSD today, quite chuffed with that.

    It's my Birthday
It's my birthday and I've already been spoilt I have got two gift cards so I can buy something for the new house, two books, chocolate, new PJ's, bedside lamp and beer tokens (money)

I have decided that as its my birthday, today I can buy my lunch, within reason of course. London can be quite expensive.

Cakes bought for the office, that came out of the grocery fund.

Hopefully more will happen with the house over the next few days.

    Morning,

Thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday I had a great day.

Things are moving with the house again and it's anticipated that the exchange of contracts will take place the middle of next week. The buyers have said they're keen to move as quick as we are

    DD becomes a Guide tonight

    Everything else is plodding along.
