National Debt Line told me not to ask for anything just send a 'time has run out letter' and wait.
Letter now sent. Will post any updates

So this happened earlier today: I was served a Statutory Demand under section 268(1) of the insolvency act 1986. Debt for liquidated sum payable immediately. For the sum of £93k This time there is a full schedule of debt. Not only does it include the statute barred £3k I dealt with above (for which I have received no response) but every payment made over 8 years to me as the private foster mother of the creditors grandson. I have 18 days to deal with this. The guy who served this on me said I would be made bankrupt if I didn't successfully get this set aside.

How can payments you received in payment for a service provided ever be considered a debt?

Take legal advice - go to court with your solicitor - get it thrown out and ask for costs - end of - I think.

how did you find that ! I couldn't. Thank you.

Need legal advice pronto I believe. I litigated against him in late 2015 in the family court. My QC suggested then he was a nafarious character. I stopped litigation to bring the child home and agree access when I ran out of money. The Creditor, the grandfather, my former friend, is now out to get revenge on me.

I applied to have the statutory demand set aside. On the day I took no more evidence and went alone. The judge appeared disappointed the other party had sent a solicitors agent and he hadn't appeared in person. The judge was cross at the waste of court time and within 2 minutes had set it aside and awarded me a few hundred pounds costs. I didn't have to say a single word.

Oh and I never did hear from AYL again.

    And the saga continues....

The costs awarded to me were not paid. I chased the other party and reminded them, then issued a money claim. The other party eventually paid up the original amount but not the £25 fee. When I was asked if the debt was now settled by the Court, I truthfully answered No. The other party then counterclaimed by falsely saying I owned him £150 plus £25 costs (total £175). The matter was referred to Court mediation. I have agreed to mediate, the other side hasn't responded. Strangely no court date set but I am chasing the courts for a date. He has gone from suggesting I owe him £93k to counterclaiming over a £25 court fee !

And we have a hearing date! I have written to him asking him to settle and stop wasting public resources. No response. He took it upon himself to deduct the £175 he claimed (fictitiously)that I owed him from the next set of airfares he had to send me. He really is a very silly man, I am not backing down on this one.

Absolutely the advice and support here has been invaluable and made me realise that I am not going mad, this man really is being very vindictive and trying to use the Court system to frighten me.

I will run up this thread now thanking people

Anthony Robert green director of carltons is a vile vile man who bullies everyone around him he was arrested for driving under the influence after crashing he's Porsche and nearly killing he's daughter which he found funny he drinks and drives still and dangerously even when sober, the man has been struck off from debt collecting for false representation he was telling debtors he was a lawyer he should be investigated again he is the worst kind of human being who preys on others that he can bully and degrade. He sued me for £4000 because I refused he's advances near Christmas he told a judge he had bought my kids and me presents totalling up to that amount, he truly is an evil man

He will, one day, try it on with someone who doesn't settle these matters in court, but down a dark alley. Sooner rather than later, I hope.
I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.
