Thought it better to start a new thread for this year rather than add to the 2015 thread.

Surely it's nothing to do with his spat with Len when len told him to show up, put up and shut up ?

Will Young has left the show, citing "personal reasons". Really disappointed, hope he's ok.

The BBC said there would be a third elimination this weekend, despite Will going.

How are they going to make the numbers up later on?

I think one of the reasons Will quit was he probably got fed up getting the worst outfits and probably saw what we was going to wear on Saturday and quit.

"Will Young says Strictly Come Dancing exit is 'undramatic'"
"Will Young says he is "absolutely dandy" after leaving Strictly Come Dancing, stressing that his early exit is "undramatic".

The singer announced on Tuesday that he was leaving the BBC One dancing competition after three live shows for "personal reasons".

His dance partner Karen Clifton has said she is "so sad" at his departure.

Strictly will proceed as normal this weekend, with a third celebrity eliminated on Sunday.

Young, 37, sent a text to BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show host Chris Evans after quitting the contest, which was read out on air.

It said: "Here's the thing. I'm absolutely dandy, thanks. It's all very undramatic, really.
"I've done my statement and others can say what they want to say. I never read what they say anyway."

Will always stands up for himself. When he was on Pop Idol and Simon Cowell criticised him he answered back, but it wasn't offensive he just gave his point of view.
    Holding back the years...

I really would loved to see JR do the VW to Shout.

He is the love child of Larry Grayson and Jim Carrey. The campness and the facial expressions. Plus he has similar eyes to the latter.

If anyone has been around the ballroom block for a number of years... there was a lovely tribute to the late Peggy Spencer on ITT tonight. Well worth watching if it takes you back to days of Penge and the Home Counties South Formation Dancing Team. Some lovely footage of a couple of strictly stalwarts in their younger, competitng days too.
