afternoon all - Reading back I was very impressed as to how motivated and determined everyone is, not only to plough onwards with the normal domestic drudgery but also to take it a step further and to start tackling more of the unspeakable depths

I also had the £1 email from ebay The trouble is I like to take my photos in the garden as it shows colours better but needless to say we have lost this mornings sunshine and the w ind and rain is back There must be something I can list though. I know the obvious answer is to list with just one photo and then add more in the week when the rain stops but I think I am going to run out of week ...
Mind you I dont think any of last weeks listings are going to sell tonight if I just relist them will that count for the £1 offer ????

In the meantime we went recycling this morning - I thought it better to do this sooner rather than later incase OH decided to reclaim anything from his heaps So thats at least one job done if we don't get to Sainsbobs this week
His corner of the living room remains an oasis of cleanliness but he did try it on last night by dumping some of his railway mags onto the magazine pile. These are going to be relocated into his work bag tonight The mag pile is minimal so I don't know why he though I would not notice it doubling in size

Regarding paperwork I thought I'd just about done. The file boxes are very jammed full though so I am thinking that I need to empty them out and see if anything can be disposed of, filing new paperwork is getting problematic. Everything in them is very recent, less than 5 years old so what can be removed will be minimal.
I used to have cardboard concertina files, totally unfit for the job but I walked into a tiny WHSmiths one day and there were 2 lightly battered metal box files reduced on a 241 offer - very much right place, right time

And in other news we were in Waitrose this morning and the tills were spitting out conditional spends £6 wys £30 with about 2 weeks expiry on them so I got 2 of them

So it might be worth doing a small purchase first to see if you get one before tackling a big list.

As its totally unlikely that I would be spending £30 I went in search of people in Waitrose with trolley loads but mostly people seemed to be doing basket shops. I managed to find one couple about to do through SS and one lady in the biscuit section with big enough shopping loads so I passed the conditional spends along - my random good deed for the day done

Are the new Walkers sharing packs (175g each) £1.50 each or are they on the 2 for £2.00 in A?

They are all available in M at £1 each (I think, I think I finally have all four of them now). However, () they are new products so I am not sure how quickly the collectors would pick them up. (I suspect N/A for a few weeks - and bloomin Ocados has them at £1 (sigh).)

They aren't available in our little A any more as they cleared them out.

I'm the same, supposed to be clearing down the cupboards but the rice doesn't take up a lot of room, or so I told DH

Have sold so much stuff the past few weeks on eBay, furniture, pictures, ornaments. We are literally living with minimal stuff and the cardboard boxes are closing in on us . Looked at a house from the outside to rent yesterday, we will hopefully only be in it 4-5 months and hoping to get a 6 month let. If we can only get 12 months we will just have to pay a fee to vacate early.

Our builder said apart from footings he's dug for new builds, he's never had to do so much ground work I've given up vacuuming every day to keep on top of it, but why am I the only one who takes my shoes off when I come in, the amount of mud that's getting walked in is an actual joke. I'm actually looking forward to moving out and letting them get on with it

Waitrose seem to be very keen to give me conditional spends so when I am walking round now I am estimating the value of peoples trolleys incase I do get conditional spends

Just back in my hotel room. Went home and hung out the towels I had washed at Mums and they dried before the weather changed. I went around having the house and got down a few cobwebs ( don't want the assessor thinking i'm a complete slob.) Lounge carpet very wet still but I took up all the towels as I don't want it to dry out completely before he comes. Noticed when I left the lounge door wont close now as it is obviously warped by the water. Kitchen , hall and shower ceilings in a bad way and my bedroom wall and the stair wall very damp. I had most of the windows open when I was there to let some air in.
Booked the hotel for tommorow night but if he says I can go home I can cancel up to 1.00pm.
Just reading Sunday papers and relaxing now I have had a throbbing head all day.

So bad day today, fell foul of the £100 per household limit on one sharpie shop....

Also had 9 sharpies refunded, but only one of them has come through on the email. So not only will I not be compensated for them with an apg... I will have paid £41 and got no sharpies!.

    So stuck what to do!

I'm guessing to beat household limit you have to have a different address, but then your credit card might not work..

    Evening!

Had to do a quick trip to Norfolk yesterday afternoon to drop some things off to my SIL, which is 3 hours away! She took us to Toby carvery for dinner and we took the kids to the sea front for ice cream and arcades.

This morning I went to JustMas's store to relieve them of sharpies. Also had a CC! Lol!

Home again now after a long drive!
