Would you consider swapping your king prawns for a pack of avocados and 2 small packs of grapes?

I noticed as I passed H0mebase that they have a sign up saying Always Low Prices - I would never have associated them with low prices, is this new? Have they dropped their prices? I always had them as last resort as their prices were higher than W1lko or BandQ. And did a supermarket used to have that tag line?

I didn't have my phone with me when i went into Home Bargains today but they had an aisle end full of doh vinci stuff

The only price i remember was this for £2.99 (supposedly £9.99 rrp) but there was a lot more sets that were approx £6 reduced from £15 or so

Sorry it's so vague but worth a look if your kids are asking for this stuff.

Freecycle - sometimes you just despair, this is a message from this mornings crop

notice how many times the word "new" comes up

    "WANTED: Wanted NEW HOUSE stuff!
My boyfriend and I are moving house soon, and are looking for new furniture or anything needed in a new house! Let me know what you've got!"
