Bubbs, I'm glad the funeral is now over for you. x

Well my confession today is £1.50 for a sandwich in MnS when I went to collect my trousers during my break!

In one way I begrudge the waste.

But I was hungry, was out by 8 and couldn't face breakfast beforehand, nor could I face making a packed lunch at 7-ish. Anyway, half of it made a late breakfast and the other half a late lunch. And I have done very well out of MnS this week and last!

It's also my only food spend of today.

A bit later on I will make a sandwich for tomorrow.

I really miss the Up and Go, meant to get some at T and forgot as they are a good comp. Next time, maybe.

But you got the passport sorted out? At least its a job you dont need to do again for a long time

Plus his one is only £20 for over age 60s, but a UK one would have been £80, so that sets off the taxi fare a bit lol.
    .
Mind you, I did get my son to phone them up to ask them about disability access etc. They were not very helpful to him on the phone but I'm wondering if his phone call did prompt them to get things done quicker than normal. They did seem to be expecting us even though they didn't know what day we were arriving, as you cant make appointments.

Expensive tour of London was quiet nice too really

APG site really weird as it has just let me check a receipt from 28th August that I found in a trolley today. Gave 84p so not complaining I only checked it as I thought it was 28th September.
Giving the same message as others for another two reciepts.

Supper planned around using the oven but have just realised that not a lot will cook in half an hour at 100 degrees Celsius! I put my Christmas cake in 2 hours ago and it needs another two to three.
    Time for a rethink.
Sometimes memories sneak out of my eyes and roll down my cheeks.

Tried on trousers - I am still a 14... was getting a bit worried as the fleece size 16 was somewhat snug.

    ------

Was told at collection point in Simply Food : 'You do know, don't you, that if you want to return or exchange anything you only have to go into a store.'

    Umm, ok.
That means she told me to, doesn't it?
