The end of procrastination and disorganisation....... 5th Jun 16 at 4:45 PM
.............and the above are the reasons for virtually all of my problems in the past and present, be it debt, weight, careers and the state of the house.

I have plans, big plans which I don't have time to pop on here right now, but I intend to use this diary to sort me out once and for all.

It's going to be fun.....a real step into the unknown.

    I can't wait.

Sorry, its one of those waffling days.

I read so many diaries on here and everyone seems to be doing amazingly well. I guess you all may not see it but they ALL keep me going day after day. But i just feel like im treading water even when i try very hard.

Any Dave R fans may be aware of his rants....i love the rants, they crack me up. Well there is one talking about when you've had it. I mean HAD IT, HAD ENOUGH OF WHAT YOU HAVE. THINGS HAVE TO CHANGE.

Well thats how I woke up this morning.

    I'VE HAD IT

Well two loads of washing done and put out. It better not rain. washing put away, beds stripped AND remade, one bag of rubbish in the bin, kitchen cleaned, washing up done and a start made on my workroom.

I will be fullfilled and i will be debt free and solvent.

Blimey, who would have thought having an emergency fund would turn me into a monster.

Somehow, I'm not sure how, I have managed to get my emergency fund up to £490. £10 short of my target though. I need to find £10. Its amazing how i have struggled for years to get together this fund but having that boost last week just seemed to tip me the other way and now im finding money easier. Strange.

Today is LOTS of sewing with a half hour break to tidy DS's room and a quick vacuum of the car. Its full of sweeties and disgusting with a added plate in the door pocket!

I'm trying to tidy before DS goes to school but he is being very clingy again. I will try to escape in a minute.

So a day of business related stuff and cleaning, but i will have the house to myself so I can blast out Dave R while I'm at it.

    Have a good day.

Thanks Abba. I didnt get the extra £10 yesterday but will when I get paid for the work i did but that wont be until the weekend. More sewing today, I shall be glad to see the back of pink georgette. I hane another one I've already swapped the skirt on which they have now decided the want the bodice altered. So off comes the skirt again. I think i will take up mums trouser just to break up the day.

I have woke this morning feeling extremely on edge. My whole body is like jelly and I'm shaking. There is no reason I can think of and its something i usually only get when I'm going off to work. I don't know, perhaps too much focus on money. Or perhaps its because I'm making zero headway with the three week list as I have so much sewing on. Perhaps part of the day needs to be spent on other things.

DS has his hearing test today. Its an extra one at the health centre. They are very thorough and understand that if he becomes unfocussed they need to bring him back to what he is doing. His test results are always near normal when its done there. At the hospital they do about 10 sounds with him mostly looking around the room and not focussed then they say he can barely hear. They dont seem to realise he is just not taking any notice of what they or he is meant to be doing, and wont listen to me when i ask them to do it again with him focussed. The hearing lady at the health centre is concerned because his results are all over 5he place so she kindly booked him in for a test a week becore his hospital one to have something to work from.

Oh well, time to get on if i can dislodge DS from my lap where he has been sleeping since we got back from dropping DH off.

    Have a good day.

I hope you find your balance and the hospital appointment with small boy goes well

I too have woken feeling the weight of all the uncomfortable changes I am implementing. We are both doing great. Big changes have an impact on our bodies. I plan to have a day of doing stuff but I will also be kind to myself. I might read a magazine with a large cup of cinnamon tea whilst listening to some classical music for 20 minutes today.

Maybe it's the hearing test that has unsettled you. I know I cope less well with uncertainty that with things mounting up. Take care.

I think we are all so hard on ourselves at times. We are fighting battles with money which may makes others give up but we are all doing so tremendously well. I do think it's a bit like a drug though, you just want more and more success. I think I tend to focus so much on one thing and forget other stuff like being careful about my health. We should all give ourselves 20 minutes per day to just be.

    Have a fantastic day both.

The feeling did pass eventually. I think it helped breaking up my day with other jobs. Its amazing what can be achieved in 30 minutes. I still have more sewing today so I will do the same and get some other jobs done too. Plus it gives my back a bit of relief.

Im still waiting for the £10. I will be taking the dresses back this weekend and will get paid then but I want it now. I'm so impatient. i can round up the emergency fund and throw the rest at the debts.

Im going to send of my PPI claim today as its still not done. It may come to nothing but no harm in trying. I was also reading about claiming on pay day loans, which I'm ashamed to say I used for a while. Perhaps I should try them to. I just want everything to be straight and become more financially stable.

I took some photos of my house yesterday. . I thought about resurrecting a blog I had a while back as a way of tracking progress for myself. I'm a visual person and would be motivated by looking back at changes and also use it for planning.

Oh well. I must go. Busy day listening to Mr Ramsey.

    Amazing progress *go PH, go*

I find photos are sometimes the only way I can 'see' things. I have no visual memory so it takes a photo to show me how bad things have got, but I also love a good before and after 9am-to 3pm photo

Actually thinking back, probably my most productive week ever was a half term challenge on OS/flylady with lots of before and after photos from everyone who took part.

I definately need to be able to compare the difference Hex and it really keeps me motivated.

I was a bit naughty today. I was supposed to be sewing but the room I work in had become impossible to work in due to mess, clutter and disorganisation. Who would have thought it from me, eh. so I just started working on it. I have got rid of loads of stuff. Still stuff to sort though. I have a little three draw chest which I transferred all my notions into and get rid of a big, plastic six draw monstrosity. I have deiced even though I need to keep my stuff in there I also want it as a useable dining room. The more I get rid of the less I have to find storage for. I have even talked DH in putting his drums in the spare room upstairs. He did say I could get rid of them but that's his decision to make.

Oh I feel so good with the dif fence and plan to continue tonight. Even though it's going to involve some repairs to floorboards and complete redecoration I can see the bones of a lovely room. I even washed my nets and got them put back up.

Things seem to be moving along nicely and I'm feeling very positive. Even DS's ears are normal range at the moment.

I was ruthless decluttering. There is still a lot to do but the change is amazing. I'm going to sports day this afternoon so I will continue tonight. I really need to spend tomorrow at the sewing machine.

I have been a bit sidetracked this morning so not a lot done except buying a tin of wood stain. I had a really poor nights sleep to so have been struggling today. I'm going to try and few a few bits then pop off to sports day. Before going to sports day I'm going to pop to a new local craft shop which has opened. It's so exciting as all we have in the local centre are pizza places, nail bars and vape shops. It could be such a pretty shopping area but is being dragged down to be honest.

Right I must get on. Have a good day all.

    Thank you Abba and DIA.

The decluttering has ground to a halt the past couple of days I'm afraid. It will need to start again on Monday for a couple of hours.

I have not been on for a couple of days as I have been feeling very miserable and had no motivation to post on my thread. I heard some very sad news about someone I know on Friday which really upset me. She is very, very ill and possibly only has a couple of months to live. Poor lady has a 5yr old son and the father has never wanted to know. I feel so heartsick for the little mite. The thought of a dear child being in the position of being all but orphaned at such a young age is heartbreaking. He has a lovely extended family but it's not the same is it? It's been a carp day today with my DS (the joys of autism)and I'm just hoping tomorrow will be better. But whatever happens I'm lucky.

I have a load of work to deliver tomorrow so will be paid for it. My emergency fund will be completed and the rest will be thrown at the debts. Recent events have put a lot into perspective and I want everything done as quickly as possibly. If I have to work lots of extra hours to achieve it I will do it.

Although I'm still working on paying of as much debt as possible between now and going back to work, but, I need a date to aim for to be out of debt. So today I have decided on one year maximum. By the end of July 18 it needs to be gone. At that point I will be a few months off 48 which give me 2 yrs and three months to get together my 3-6 months emergency fund and also pay off as much of the mortgage as possible. I would love to be mortgage free by the time I'm 50 but I may be pushing it.

Hopefully though I will be consumer debt free in 5 weeks. I'm trying, really, really trying. I finally have an emergency fund so anything is possible.

Right time to get back to the machine ready for a fitting tomorrow.

Have a good night all and look after yourselves. Xxx
