Official Trying to Conceive - Thread 13 13th Apr 16 at 12:29 PM
This is the new thread for those trying for a baby.
    The previous one is here:
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=5143999

Please be aware that this is a thread for those trying to conceive. If you wish to announce a pregnancy (or are only a couple of days from testing) and you have never used this thread before, please either wait until CD1 or use the less than 12 weeks pregnant thread. Hormones can run high on here (nature of the thread!) so please be sensitive. Many thanks!

There is no such thing as a silly question, so please ask anything you are curious about. Many of us have 'been there done that' and many of our graduates still read this thread and are happy to offer advice when it is needed and relevant.

As with everything deemed medical, we cannot offer medical advice, so please visit or call your GP if you have any concerns or questions. Getting a preconception check up is recommended and allows your GP to know that you're trying for a baby as well as identifying and rectifying any issues or problems that may interfere with a pregnancy before you conceive.

    I remember you twigpig. :-)

I'm so annoyed with my body right now. I have been cramping for four days now and I know AF is coming just would like her to appear now. This often happens days of will she won't she, then she takes me by surprise!

Add me to the 2WW please twigpig.

Had a weird odd day literally feel like I haven't stopped so think a nice hot bath is in order followed by bed!

Congratulations to those who have recently got their BFP's such an amazing feeling.

Congrats welshkitty! And also Zeni, hope the process isn't too stressful for you! I remember being a FTB well and we are now looking at moving again but the thought of all the hassle makes me want to stay put forever!

AF now one day late, had some spotting which I am hoping is implantation?! I had it at the same time last time when I was pg so fingers crossed...just used an IC test but not fmu and hadn't held it for long so not surprised it was bfn. Had told myself I would wait until Saturday but I am weak! No idea how reliable the cheapies are though so I'm not counting myself out yet.

Any sign of OV for you yet Zeni?

We are going away for the night tonight so I will be drinking and I know this will mess up my BBT - had another positive this morning so I'm confused and was hoping temps could pinpoint it for me but tomorrow may throw it out for a day or 2.

    Hey guys!

Longtime no see, same old, same old here, no BFP's, periods all over the place, etc, etc. Had to put up with crap like not finding out my sis-in-law had a baby till the darn thing was born and then accidentaly!

Still, I think we've planned on our next step being IVF, possibly abroad. Hence we are off to the Fertility Show in Manchester next weekend where there should be a few of these clinics there. Which reminds me, I was daft enough to !!!!!! up on Groupon. I managed to buy 3 tickets, 2 in one lot then a seperate one. But theres not 3 in this relationship and theres no one I would take!

So would anyone like it? It is for the afternoon only but I dont want to waste it, it's a Groupon code so I just need to send it. Please only ask if you are going to use it.

    Love and babydust!

Can I be added to the wine and chocolate zone, CD2 please twig?

    Sorry Orange
It was 12 weeks this week since my ERPC. I thought my body was getting back on track last month, but then 10 days ago my period arrived only 3 weeks after the last one (& completely out of the blue while sightseeing in a spanish town-luckily we had our suitcases with us so I had a change of clothes, but my (primary) schoolgirl spanish wasn't great at asking for sanitary towels! ) , then appeared on alternate days until the sunday, and hasn't really gone since. Heavier again today.
It's my 3rd period since the MMC, and the 2nd one was 30 days after the 1st (I had 25 day cycles before got preg), but both previous ones were only about 3-4 days long
So I shall be ringing the GP on monday. I'm convincing myself that it's a sign of early menopause...

Hey slinky selina. Very thoughtful to offer the ticket. I hope it's a good event.

Hotcookie, try not to stress. It's never as bad as you think and I'm sure you are way way too young to be reaching the menopause.
