Default Local Bargains on eBay

Has anybody used www.localbargainfinder.co.uk ? It searches for items on eBay without postage based on your postcode - so mainly large or heavy items like furniture, toys and car parts.

I bought a set of Black & Decker Hedgeclippers for £1.27!! which had been used no more than a few times, but I did give the seller £5 to help ease my conscience.

Hiya,

I use advanced search on ebay for specific things but this site shows me all bargains in my area

Thanks OP I shall never miss a bargain again

Ps Bless your cotton socks for giving the seller 5- I had that happen too when I won a bid for 99p... I won myself a cot, moses basket, toys, bouncy chair and bags of baby clothes from 0 months to 1 year I felt that bad that I gave the seller 20 (it was all I had on me) and it was all in excellent condition....

I use the Location options on the left hand side within ebay. You can choose to search between 10 and 2000 miles of your home postcode.

Thumbs up

I have just looked as well and seen some bargains in my area. Before any items I wanted which turned out to be for pick up onlywhere far away. Very frustrating.

Thanks
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.

That happens to me if I press the return key instead of actually clicking on the button beside it

great tool, i have seen this befor and use it all the time,

make sue you hit the search button, and dont just press enter, then it works,

for some reason when you just hit enter it does something wrong, and fails.

oh and make sure there is no gap in your post code too

I've seen that happen when I search using the default postcode BT274QS - i dont think that actual postcode exists though - may be something to do with that?

They should never have put in a start price that low!!! I guess it was done to save fees, but, what a sickener when it went for that!
