Prolific Academic - New Survey Alerts 23rd Dec 15 at 1:12 PM
Hi all, this is a thread dedicated to alerting everyone to new surveys appearing on the Prolific Academic site.

It's an interesting and well paid survey site, which also means they're popular and become fully subscribed very quickly!

I love the site, but find their own survey notifications a wee bit hit and miss and most of us don't have time to repeatedly check the site during the day on the off chance of finding available surveys. We won't all be eligible for the same surveys, but a quick 'heads up' when we do see one may make checking for surveys just a little bit more profitable and worthwhile for each other.

No rules, just subscribe and post when you see them to spread the joy!

Additionally, if you're planning on signing up to the site, please be sure to pop over to the referral thread to use someone else's link, before posting your own.

Yes, I got an error message right at the end of this picture one too. I went back into it on a different screen using the 'you have an incomplete cubmission' tab, and clicked on 'I've finished' which gave me a NOCODE completion code. I hope that will be sufficient.

I didn't get a code at the end either.

Did anyone else complete the 'Usability Study for Mobile Devices only' study where you had to guess which screen had the most dots?

I got as far as the screen telling me I had a bonus of £2.40 and could either keep or donate the bonus to the lab. I couldn't get any further than this page (the researcher said I would still get paid the 0.50 and any bonus).

Has anyone else been paid their bonus? At the moment I've only been paid 0.50.

Sorry, chinupandcarryon, I forgot to say, "Welcome". Welcome and thank you for the alert.

I took it upon myself to investigate a trifle; it had custard, jelly, soggy sponge things...

There's astudy on 'intimacy with robots' from the imagineering institute up at the moment for 90p, but I'm getting an error message when I try and open the stidy. Have emailed the researcher.

I got the same problem too and messaged the researcher but it seems to be ok now, hope it's now working for everybody else!

ETA: However, I wasn't able to get a completion code at the end.

I had to return the study as it was about to time out on me, and it hasn't re-appeared. Oh well, win some/lose some!

It would be nice if they emailed the study leads in a similar fashion to how YouGov emails surveys.

Just returned a bizarre study on alien languages because I couldn't progress through the study. Hope whoever completes it has better luck than me.
