Prolific Academic - New Survey Alerts 23rd Dec 15 at 1:12 PM
Hi all, this is a thread dedicated to alerting everyone to new surveys appearing on the Prolific Academic site.

It's an interesting and well paid survey site, which also means they're popular and become fully subscribed very quickly!

I love the site, but find their own survey notifications a wee bit hit and miss and most of us don't have time to repeatedly check the site during the day on the off chance of finding available surveys. We won't all be eligible for the same surveys, but a quick 'heads up' when we do see one may make checking for surveys just a little bit more profitable and worthwhile for each other.

No rules, just subscribe and post when you see them to spread the joy!

Additionally, if you're planning on signing up to the site, please be sure to pop over to the referral thread to use someone else's link, before posting your own.

Yes, MLE007, usually it is quicker but I have waited five days before now; seems to be down to luck. So long as it has not got lost, huh?
What is this life, if, sweet wordsmith, we have no time to take the pith?

Every stew starts with the first onion.

I took it upon myself to investigate a trifle; it had custard, jelly, soggy sponge things...

On the 'General Experience Survey', they made it clear they are looking for input from Americans.

Do you think it was a mistake it appearing in the UK?

    I completed it anyway.

Did they? Well, shucks. What is it doing here, then? I done completed it too, baby... Yee-aah.

Why is the payment in £? Why is there an option to say you ain't a yank? If these researchers, and that is a kind word for some of them, can't be bothered to screen out participants they don't want, that is their look-out, ask me.

Yeah, it's them, boring or what? It is a drag in more senses than one! How many ways can you ask the same ruddy question? My arm aches from all that dragging; I really earned that £2.50.

I started the make up one but I just couldn't face doing it all the way through, even though it was worth £2.50!

No, babe, £10.50 in total; 7 x 50p then £7.00 at the end. He has been paying the day before's 50p every day so here's hoping the £7 is paid sharpish too. I have had a hell of a week for unexpected expenses so need every penny! It would really come in handy.
