My 2015-2020 timeline diary......... 12th Aug 15 at 11:42 AM
    Hey,

This is my timeline diary, I am going to keep this up to date with my debt, savings & all that jazz until I am a debt free, home-owning responsible adult

I am setting myself this timeline because I realise now that it will take me this long to sort out my life financially.

My main problems are frivolous spending on anything really, spending on credit cards just because I have them & also holidays!

    So here goesssssssssssss

Well I picked up 2 so the other one is on there now.

My Mum has 2 aswell so will bung hers on there next week.

I picked them up to keep aswell but made a coffee as soon as I got home, all excited then nearly scalded myself!

Was gonna just take them back but seen them on ebay so thought I'm gonna list it & see if it goes for a good price.

Glad I did! That's a wee bit extra towards my Christmas shopping budget.

Oh the rate for USD with them is 1.2577. I bought $500 & it cost me about £397ish which is better than anywhere else right now.

Enjoy your holiday Dolly. Will you warn us before you go. I will miss your updates and not just the debt busting but your weight loss is really impressive too.
Best wishes for maintaining that while you are away but also enjoying your holiday. I'm sure you will manage both. xxx

Oh PSL I don't know what has gotten into me lately but I have gained a good few lbs

Just can't seem to get myself into the zone, at the same time I am miserable due to the extra weight.

Why then can I not stop myself?

No point being too mad about it, won't make myself feel any better.

I need to get myself sorted........tomorrow

Oh I will my sweet, thanks!

    Debt
    £15,000.00 - Starting
    £9176.28 - Current

    Weight
    16st 7lbs - Starting
    15st 0lbs - Current
    1st 7lbs - Lost so far

    CC's
    £426.52 - SBCC
    £8749.76 - BC

    IOUs
£29.00 - Niece birthday trip to cinema
£8.00 - Niece birthday trip to cinema
    £87.00 - Mothers Day Dinner
    £35.00 - Car valet
    £15.64 - Dobbies lunch
    £13.36 - Dobbies
    £36.00 - Watt brothers
    £55.00 - Thaikhun
    £27.00 - Pizza hut
    £35.95 - Pizza hut

Okay so what is clear here is that we eat out far too much & put this on the CC, this is bad. Very bad, also I am getting fatter as each day passes.

So I have a note of all these IOU's & over the next wee while I am going to pay them all back & cross them off as we go.

I am going to stop spending on the CC for treats, we do not need these treats!! I must get it into my head that this is the case - we do not need these treats!!!!!

As it stands right now the IOU total is £341.95, a positive is that at least I am keeping track! Every cloud & all that.

Back on the diet today aswell, I am making myself miserable by eating too much. There I said it, it is as simple as that.

I tried on a size 16 dress in Sainsburys the other day & I swear it would barely go near me. I took a horrid picture so that when I want to munch on something back I am going to look at this picture to remind myself of how I actually look, I think I seriously under estimate my size at the minute.

Just went to WH Smiths there as the Post Office is inside, made it out without buying any stationary!

Seen a gorgeous academic year diary, it was sooooooooo pretty, I am so proud of myself for making it out of that shop without that diary

I would have been tempted by that too Dolly, and probably tried to justify it as it would help me become 'more organised'. Of course it wouldn't do anything that a blank notebook can't do, but stationary is a big weakness of mine!

Okay so weight is up 1lb from yesterday, will hopefully be back down from tomorrow.

DH has been paid so started paying back some of the IOUs that we both had. We both dipped into our savings but that is us both paid back those IOUs. Just the ones to the CC that need paying back now, one step at a time people

I have about £60.00 to last me for the rest of April & the whole of May 2017. Now this might sounds bad (it is) but we are away for 2 of those weeks on our holibags so should be able to manage it!

So today was a good day. Budgeted for the month ahead, planned out what I am going to pay to my CC's. Will be paying the SBCC in full so the rest of the budget will go towards the BC.

I do have another couple of things to go on the SBCC which will come under April 2017 Grocery Budget.

Next month will be better as we will be away for 2 weeks

Need to be more strict around this, I need to keep a better track of the SBCC.

Today I am in work until 6.30pm so not much exciting happening today.
