    MoneySavingExpert Insert May 16:

Hi everyone, it's well worth reading our fully researched Meerkat Movies trick blog for the full lowdown on this.

Thanks to lamp for posting! Back to the original post...

    ----

    Good morning all!

I enjoyed my first usage of the Meerkat Movies code last night at the cinema.

There has been some somewhat conservative comments regarding selecting of insurance to use this offer. I just thought I'd share how I got my policy...

You are eligible for Meerkat Movies with single travel insurance policies, so I purchased a short trip one to Europe, and for under £5, I have 12 months of Meerkat Movies. Bargain.

I don't know how long that will last before the threshold is raised though.

    Best of luck!

    Lou

£1.11 for a year of 2-4-1 cinema? Chuffed!
Just tried this loophole out and have paid £1.11 for a day trip! I suppose it will cover me for a jaunt to the shop later!

I'll make that quid back the first time I use the code (which will hopefully be Wednesday). Just awaiting activation.

    Thanks for the tip MSE!

One day travel insurance for £1.48 with ERV and cinema code appeared as soon as I entered insurance details. Bargain.

    My Cineworld Plus
So with Cineworld now charging £4.95 a year to get the 10% online ticket booking discount, is it worthwhile having alongside Meerkat Movies?

As a light film goer I'd say no, but as I have the cost on a pre paid credit card (free from survey site) I'll probably take it out this year.

I usually stick to going occasionally with a friend who has Unlimited or free preview screenings. So maybe year 2 I won't bother.

Just renewed motor insurance direct with the provider (after haggling) as it was way lower than anything on CtM - then realised that meant we no longer got our Meerkat Movies!

Quick search for a 1-day UK trip and *pow* £1.11 with ERV and MM now extended until July 2018.
