Default Car Insurance - LVIC haggle

Hi

Just received my renewal notice from LVIC quoting just under 630 for both cars. I only need one car insuring (given up on the British summer) so the price dropped to just under 340.

Tesco online came in at just under 300. Without any haggling, LVIC gave me a 50 reductions so I paid almost 290 using my 4% cashback card. I'm sure there are better deals but, for peace of mind, I'm sticking with who I know.

Result!

I have just switched to LVIC from DirectLine.

Despite being with them for the last ten years, they didn`t seem interested in keeping my business when I phoned them about a better deal.
