    This is my 2nd diary on MSE. My first diary, "When I asked for luck I didn't mean the bad variety!!" has to be closed as it's reached over 5000 posts!! It can be found here;

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=3911061

In 2011 my Husband had a motorcycle accident resulting in a severe brain injury, memory problems and Epilepsy. Unfortunately he is getting worse not better and I am now his full time Carer, which can be challenging, but I'm ever grateful he is still here! I also have 2 boys aged 10 and almost 5, a part time job and I'm currently a Beaver Leader but I've just given notice to leave at Christmas (as much as it pains me!) as I just can't manage that too. The last 3.5 years have been hard going for lots of reasons, but worth it. Every day may not be good, but there's something good in every day!!

At the time of the accident we owed over £23,700 on credit cards and we currently owe just over £3000. Hopefully this diary will see us getting debt free forever! I hope you'll join me.

    Lucky Xx

Agree with the weather being dire at the minute, I've lit the woodburner the tonight and last night as the house felt damp and cold, truly ridiculous in June.

Well done on winning the hamper and the weight loss!

    Evening all!

Weather been better here today so 2 loads dried outside. Rained all day yesterday and the same is forecast for tomorrow . At least it was dry today for DS2's school fun run.

Won £10 . Added to Florida pot.

Had a lovely few hours with one of my oldest friends yesterday. We had a good chat and lifted each other's spirits. Good times. Made me feel lots better.

Horrible rain here again today, worst June I can remember in a long time! Sun has just put in an appearance for the first time all day, shame it's too late to hang any washing out!

NSD - easy when you don't even cross the door! I literally showered and put clean pjs on!! Been clearing out DS2's room most of the afternoon, after only managing half of it the last time. It's looking spick and span now . Not much added to the ebay pile, but a few things going to the charity shop. Spent all evening smiling again that I'm not at work , wonder if that will wear off?!?!

Very dull here today with bits of rain in the wind but managed to get washing dry. Very disappointing for June. Glad you're enjoying not being at work, that was a good decision.

Rain here too. I think the sun has gone missing!

The kids have spent the 2nd week of the half term indoors because it hasn't been dry at all!

Can't beat the feeling of knowing you've done some organising

Today is DH's 39th birthday! My Facebook memories have reminded me that his 33rd birthday in hospital post accident was pretty awful, so I'm planning on enjoying every minute today with him.

No more money made in the last few days. Took the boys swimming on Sunday and went specifically to the pool next to the clothes weighing in place with the bag of stuff I have. Only it was closed on Sundays!! Never mind, the boys enjoyed swimming anyway.

Mum came over yesterday with the contents of her penny jar that she saves her change in for the boys. They got £10 each when I'd counted it out, so will bank that and then change it for their holiday spends .

    Evening all.

DH had a good birthday thanks. We didn't go far during the day, but went out for tea after school with the boys and MiL. Used a 25% off voucher!

Yesterday was our 14th wedding anniversary. DH organised some flowers as a surprise (pretty sure MiL helped, but I'm still impressed!).

Today has been a waves of fear day .

No full seizures, but plenty of mini seizures, vagueness and anger . He's supposed to be doing an obstacle challenge tomorrow with some friends too .

Finally got round to weighing in the old clothes and made a huge £3. Also sold the old dvds to C3x and got £8.30. Rounded the whole lot up to £15 to make the Florida pot a straight £500, couldn't help myself. No idea how I can make the £1k I was hoping for in just 2 more weeks.

Did the online check in today, all seeming quite real now .

Belated Happy Birthday to DH, Happy Anniversary to you both, and wow - is it really only two more weeks to wait for your holiday?
Amazing. I'd better say "Have a wonderful time!" now to avoid yet another late greeting..

I hope all is well there. Hoping DH is okay after the mini seizures and the obstacle challenge.

A huge 'Well done' on raising £500 in such a short space of time. You must all be excited about your holiday coming up so soon.
