Baby steps to mortgage freedom for beanielou. 4th Nov 14 at 2:19 PM
My first thread on the MFW board!!
My mortgage has 6 & 1/2 years left to run.
My income seems to decrease more & more & it becomes more & and more of a challange to pay my hefty(to me) mortgage.
I have managed an overpayment last month as I got some £££'s unexpectedly.
My biggest fear is not being able to pay my mortgage & loosing my home.
So I have decided that baby steps are the way forward~even a fiver or a tenner overpaid in a month is better than nothing.

it is great that your mortgage allows overpayments. Sometimes I could overpay a little more and other times I couldn't. Just overpay what you can. That's what I did and every little counts. I still got MF in the end

Great news the doors are imminent Re the overpayments, if you shave a few months off the term that's fabulous, it all helps.

Someone at work is meant to be flying with them tomorrow too. Flown with them twice, first time was fine, second time they made me empty everything out of my hand luggage and put the empty bag in the hold "at no charge". So took the contents on the plane but just not in a bag!!!!

Can't beat Jet2 in my opinion.

They aren't great but I will probably still take advantage if they launch a major sale to recover from this.

I'm coming back from Tenerife with them so if they cancel I'll just have to stay there! The hardship 😂
