Need to get myself together: The beginning 16th Sep 14 at 1:38 PM
    Hi all

I am back. Short story, I was in this position before though holding a baby in my arms and his dad left us with a loan I got for him (I naively believed there was people after him) and such a bad overdraft. I managed to scrape it back and pay it all off and was on a high (figuratively) of being debt free.

Four years on I have been left (no baby this time) and foolishly beleived this guy was decent. No need to tell me off or should have known better, believe me I am my own worst enemy.

So now my debts are :

£1,000 overdraft (hope to clear by Christmas or least by January)
£200 odds Next (Yeah this is me I cannot blame anyone but myself here) I want it cleared by Christmas at least
£5,000 loan ( I am mad I know for having got it for him and he "says"will help with this but will not hold my breath as he is already asking for more money - probably for the girl he left me for...) I hope to pay this back in 2.5 years not the 5 year plan I was given.

Anyway, I am determined and I will not fail

Also need to put money aside for America in May 2015. (£125 a month) and also 52 week challenge. The reason I am going to America is its my 30th and my mum and dad are paying for this.

The first post is longer than I thought it would be I am so sorry!!

Hopefully I will be back on track soon xx

Hes a lot better this morning, had a great sleep in bed with me... though my back took a battering with his kicks. He has a bark like cough but not croup cough anymore. I will decide later if he will go to TKD tonight. Hes got his colour back though in face. Thanks for asking <3

21 days until payday. My VO is at £5 kind of been slacking, be Monday I think get last £10 for Boots and then move on to Top Shop or maybe love to shop vouchers?

    How is everyone xx

Cashed out £10 Boots voucher. So my mums xmas is complete.
Doing a week survey and should receive £15 for completing this. When I do, will keep the code towards my dads and that means only need to get £10 and his will be complete.

My next lot will be my younger sister Christmas for vouchers. Then will do my older sister birthday vouchers for her bday just before xmas. That saves me plenty money and also I look good for it xx

Will finish my xmas shopping by end of October as end each month to give my sister £90 for my nieces private horse riding lessons. And to buy my boy a Nintendo switch. Other than that I am done xxx

You are doing amazingly with the vouchers! I can't believe how quickly it all mounts up and before you know it, you've got most of your Christmas sorted! I have around £45 in Amazon e-vouchers sitting but I'd like to put that towards the kids' Christmas when they decide what they'd like. It takes the sting out of a large, expensive present if there is one.

I don't give vouchers as gifts, but if I did i'd definitely be following your methods!

Our Smyths catalogue came in yesterday too but the kids haven't seen it yet. They did go completely MAD in Hamley's at the weekend when we were looking around. Lots of shreiking and diving around to see what was round the next corner!

I was hoping to pick up an Argos book when I was in town last week but there was none out and no staff around to ask. Ho hum, will try again next time. The kids NEED the catalogue for Christmas planning, doesn't Argos understand??
