Glad to hear that Holby is safe, although there should be some shake-ups.

The Fredrick is a real pantomime villain. Come on, Billy your acting is not worthy of your father!

    Donna remains annoying.

I saw something in The Mirror or the i that there's a two-parter planned with enormous challenges! Should be good.

It was at the end of last nights episode, little sketches of what's next . It looked really good but I am remembering the ad for the helicopter accident at Casualty and how eagerly I waited only to be very disappointed..

I really was half asleep watching last night's episode. Great news about Dom and his prize, delighted that Henrik has faith in him, would love to see the back of Fred and his dirty tricks over the steroids but I expect he'll stick around, good news about Holby being saved, how will they resolve the Ric situation?

I followed all that but did we know that the junior doctor was leaving? Is he leaving?

Was the neurology woman who did the surgery on Tiago (???) the same one as last week or another I've forgotten all about?

I wonder which ward Freida will be on? Am I right that she'll be a doctor now?

Oh, yes, two good strong female characters coming back.

Frieda was always a doctor, but not registered in the uk, so still had to go through the foundation/ clinical training procedure .

Hi everyone, I had a quick look here the other day and there were no posts and now 2 pages to read through.

One of my friends who couldn't see Casualty on Saturday text to ask me about it, I said I was struggling to watch it, worst episode I've known. It was such a confusing format, I never knew if the scenes with Glen were in the past or the present as they were constantly switching. Seemed boring too.

I was very surprised to see that new neurosurgeon on active duty on Tuesday because I could have sworn her husband hinted on a previous episode that she had the beginnings of dementia.

Very strange to see one of the characters from Cagney and Lacey in Holby Hospital.

It must feel really uncomfortable for Henrik to know what sort of son he's got and how far he's willing to go to backstab his colleagues.

So Frieda will return? There were some episodes long ago where some of the staff went overseas to help her out although I can't remember the details.

Last week's neuro surgeon had a husband (a professor apparently) who had dementia. he seemed to be an old friend of Henrik's. The storyline was that she went head to head with Ollie for funding and he was so moved by their situation that he sort of withdrew.

This week there was a neuro surgeon that seemed also to know Henrik from way back.

I thought they were two different women as I thought last week's had dark hair and this week's was blonde. Maybe I imagined it.

    Anyone clarify?

Maman, I didn't quite catch the scene when the husband mentioned dementia so I assumed he was talking about his wife not himself, maybe you were right and not me.

I think she had blond hair in previous weeks. But I didn't realise she was a surgeon I thought she was in admin so I was doubly surprised to see her on the ward, firstly because I thought she had a different role and secondly as I thought she had dementia lol

It comes to something when we're having to check with each other what's going on in Holby either because it's so bad that we're falling asleep and missing bits or the characters keep coming and going so much it's impossible to keep up!

So Nina and her husband can just walk away from Holby and go to Amsterdam with not a word to anyone??? I know it's fiction but that seems farcical.

Missed the last couple of week's episodes as been watching Jo Brand Cats and Kittens, I got a bit fed up with the storylines recently with Holby, will no doubt go back to it when the cat prog ends. Sounds like nothing much has happened recently.
