Anyone taking the iSoftStone exam this weekend?!

I've just downloaded the guidelines, and am currently trying to summon the strength to start reading them..

Well, occasionally I have worked 10 hours per day during 5 days in a row, at the beginning my hands hurt, but later they got used to it

    Hello all, new poster here.

I applied yesterday for their WSE role and was surprised to get the email inviting me to complete the NDA early this morning. Any idea on how long it usually takes to hear back following this?

I do similar work for 'the other client' also, any advice on what to expect?

    Thanks

Hey all, thanks for the welcome

They appear to work at speed, had the guidelines and access to UHRS already by half 8 this morning. Ran through the guidelines and completed 25 hitapps so far on the 1st training test run (had to stop as it was time for the other job!) Reading through, is it still the case of 65/100 minimum to progress onto the next stage?

I've never done anything for this client, but what I'm having to do seems okay so far. I like that the system automatically logs the work you do and the speed, etc. I can handle repetitive, i'm just looking to add a bit of stability to the work I already do (I work for Leapforce in my other gig, which is great, but really inflexible due to when you actually get work).

Anyway, great to be here, hopefully I'll get through the qualification in one piece!

I'd be very careful you don't lose both jobs.

Could somebody let me know how payment works for isoft web evaluation

I have done leap force in the past where for instance each task(hit) is give a billable time
for example 10 mins or 3 mins which you then put on your timesheet

    Is isoft similar??

    Taking the exam this week

    Thanks

No, you don't have to wait the full 3 minutes. But as it's the exam, I suppose you might need to take your time to make sure you get the right answer. (If you pass, you'll be judging these in approx 30 seconds ). And I assume there wouldn't be any penalty if you go over the 3 minutes, but as I said before, it's over 2 years since I did the exam myself.

Is the pass mark for the examinations also 65/100, or is it higher? I'm sure I read 80 somewhere, which might be a bit eek as I've managed 75 and 70 on the practice ones.

Cap message again today at only 2pm. I had one more hour left to work.

Yet, at least 3 people on here are currently taking the exam..

So, while some of us existing team members were recently told the hours for our part of the project were being reduced, they decide to take on new people to work on (presumably) the other part, instead of just shifting some of US over like the previous PM used to.

It's like there's no awareness that some of us rely on this job to pay our bills. Emailing the PM yet again..

    Sorry to hear that Mallrat

I just took the exam and I think I failed as I didn't get the 0.75 rate. I bombed it. I've appealed a few... annoying as some LPs were wrong, which I appealed, so hopefully that will have an impact but not by much.

As I understand it from what the PM said we get a second batch/attempt. Panicked a bit at first which is always my problem, bit gutted now. Oh well. If it's meant to be it's meant to be.
