talk me down please 21st Apr 14 at 12:12 AM
Ok 10 years ago me and OH took MIL and Aunty away the plan was during this break we would invite em to the wedding.
Before we could they stormed off and refused to answer any of my OHs calls.
OH tried to get them to talk didn't happen and the wedding went ahead.
Eventually OH and MIL are reconciled 2 years on another argument is provoked eventually reconciled then a big bust up about her not being at our wedding then reconciled rinse and repeat.
MIL has been diagnosed with terminal cancer we have been ensuring she has company food etc (regular visits) I went to her appointment with her last Fri then last Sat OH goes around to see her and the wedding row was provoked again she went in for an op Mon telling OHs sister the auntie nephews etc to not tell my OH she was in or the ward or when the op was.
OH is upset so I get the hospital info so at least we can find out how she is.
We went to see her at the hospital on Fri aft and discovered shed been discharged in the morning.
Still not called OH no contact nothing.
I am livid my OH has been beside themselves and deeply upset (which is the intention) she can't even allow people to say she is ok.
So how do I keep my OH on a nice even keel and stop myself from telling her off?

Kevin has an open wound on his cheek
Clearly another abscess luckily started bathing it yesterday so it will be OK.

One of the stitches keeping the feeding tube in came out last night
Spoke to GP who went mad that I am on my own doing this. We don't think it will be a problem though.

Apparently it can reburst when the drains come out so I think that's why its September before that op

    Failed to do anything today
Did get a humidifier on amazon prime should help OH lungs
And some pretty plants for me.

Today I have fallen over a couple of times and forgotten Froos name lol am now on Prozac instead of Sertraline so think its that

    Kevin been in
    Face bathed
    Lots of kisses
    Gone back out
Trinket helped me with the washing
Ty and pickles helped me change the bed

OH has been in a lot of pain today, one of the drains hurts and he's forgotten that sitting up uses muscles that have wasted so he needs to do it in small doses.

Tomorrow I have to calk GP and get some more saline wound packs and foam dooberys also chase red cross (thanks Calley) for the wheelchair.

Next Fri is CMHT with OH
Week after is nutritionist appointment with OH

Cancelled his mate visiting today as he wasn't up to it.
    Me either to be honest

OH stood outside and had a chat with our friends
    He's lying down now

He asked what I had done to Kevin as Kevin Son of Tom is a very very vocal lad these days and likes to stick cat food scented mouth against my mouth, nose and cheek whilst eating.

Trink has been in and eaten everyone's dinner, pick needs a big cuddle she's been following me round, ty is with OH, Freya piddled all over the lounge cos she was away from me for 20 mins so throws are back in the wash.

Me and my bad skin are lying down for half hour

    Will add more pics tomorrow

OH goes in for pre op Friday
He still weak bit better than was
We had a family party (which with this thread is odd and probably hypocritical of me) weekend before last to celebrate OH being alive.

    My hair has gone white
    Skin is bad
    Other lesson is:

When you have been coping OK, perhaps don't look at your mum/dad on faceache eh there's a good girl.

Right checked in so you all know I'm hanging on by my fingernails.
