The new thoughts of the day thread 12th Apr 14 at 5:06 PM
I thought i'd start a new fresh thread seeing as the old one was quite long & was started in January 2013. Hopefully this one will be a bit more lively.

Anyway my thought for the day is why are teenage girls more selfish than teenage boys (imo)? I swear Meg has caused me so much hassle compared to either of my boys & seems to think the world revolves around her.

I've been to Milton Keynes shopping today & omg it was so busy, i'm so glad I live in a small town as we don't get traffic jams.

I hope everyone is well & having a lovely weekend.
I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

My thought of the day is it's nice to see so many of the people who used to post in here back I did not want to say Old Posters as it sounds cheeky

Interestingly, I was looking up the cast of "When the Boat Comes In", and both Jean Heywood and James Garbutt, who played Mam and Da' Seaton, are still alive! They're in their 90s mind.

And James Bolam and Susan Jameson are still going strong.

However, the actors who played Tom and Billy, the other Seaton boys, are both dead, the former at only 37 and the latter at the age of 60.

(Just noticed a lot of 'James' in those names! And the series was created by James Mitchell! )

Was it 'The Tinderbox?'........will go and google........

Edit. Yes, it was 'The Tinderbox', with dogs guarding the money-chests, each one having even bigger eyes.

Colin told me that the Welsh for carrot is 'moron'.

Does that make my spellchecker an automoron?
