The new thoughts of the day thread 12th Apr 14 at 4:06 PM
I thought i'd start a new fresh thread seeing as the old one was quite long & was started in January 2013. Hopefully this one will be a bit more lively.

Anyway my thought for the day is why are teenage girls more selfish than teenage boys (imo)? I swear Meg has caused me so much hassle compared to either of my boys & seems to think the world revolves around her.

I've been to Milton Keynes shopping today & omg it was so busy, i'm so glad I live in a small town as we don't get traffic jams.

I hope everyone is well & having a lovely weekend.
I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

My auntie died of cancer in the early hours, she was only 49 & has 3 children & 3 grandchildren.

Life is short & so unfair.

I am bumping this thread as it's somewhere Ruby Tuesday used to come.

I have been asked to pass on a message from her saying she hasn't forgotten us, she sends her love and hopes to be back here at some point

I wish you all the best Ruby, come back soon

    Thanks for the bump Joansgirl.

Well I've been back in hospital since Thursday & had surgery again yesterday. My tummy wound got infected & opened up so they had to clean it all out. I'll be having further surgery Monday when they'll decide whether to reclose the wound.

So upset just found out my son's glorious young doggie was run over and died about three months ago.

They didn't want to tell me as I was ill.

    Thanks JG xxx

Nearly set myself alight cooking my dinner this evening.

Wearing a long jumper with splits in the side and the corner of it caught on the gas!!

I'm going to be as big as a house soon!

Massive bump for this thread I know but there's nowhere else really to put this stuff.

April and May are pretty bad months for me, Mum died in April, both Mum and Dads birthdays are in May and today is the third anniversary of my last dogs death

So, trying not to feel too glum but I can't help feeling a bit sad.

    Yes, Colin, good idea.

Some regular names who haven't posted for ages. Sheel was great, but perhaps she's busy with grandchildren.

I miss lovely ruby Tuesday, too.
