The Good Morning Thread 5th Apr 14 at 6:17 AM
Well, we've got a goodnight thread so let's have a good morning one as well.

    Good morning everybody
Me and the dog have had our morning constitutional and shortly I shall be venturing forth to the big Tesco to do my fortnightly shop. When I get home I've got 3 hours work related admin and paperwork to do

The weather here is a bit nippy but at least there's no fog.

Morning all, I had the wind and rain battering the window earlier, it's just grey and unpleasant and gusty now.

    Blimey, you're up early, Coley!

    Sorry about your headache.
Have you taken something for it?

It's blowing a hooley and pouring here, too..... rain smashing against the window.
I wasn't surprised......... driving home yesterday late afternoon, far on the horizon there were some very tumultuous looking clouds, despite the sun still shining at that point. Cumulo-nimbus, plus one very towering-looking one. Forget the name of it.
Rain started in the late evening, though.

    Good morning, little Stormclouds!

My daughter has been telling me about one of her teachers who is single & thinks would be perfect for me. So last night at her options evening, we're walking into the main hall & one of her teachers chucks a beaming smile out & says hello to me & my daughter. (Daughter then says she's never seen her teacher smile like that & that it was the teacher she had told me about). I told her to be quiet & stop being silly but it made me smile nonetheless.

After the meeting in the main hall there were various mini workshops where course content & exam format were explained. First one I get taken to by my daughter just so happens to be the one which is being taught by said teacher above.

Hilarious Pyx! You've brought a smile to my face.

She is very attractive & according to my daughter shares my love for gin & Jo Nesbo (author) but I wouldnt even know where or how to think about asking her for a drink!!

Will there be any gin events locally you could tell her about? And casually drop in that you'll be going?

Otherwise, maybe you could become 'seriously worried' about your daughter's progress in the teacher's subject, and ask to have a chat about it, and then start talking about gin!

School events wise, there is a parents evening in March but my ex wife will be coming along with me & our daughter which could prove a barrier

    Good Evening.

I was woken at 11.30PM lastnight by workman digging up a neighbours front path

Must have been an emergency of some sort?

Water, gas, electricity, i don't know which?
