The Good Morning Thread 5th Apr 14 at 6:17 AM
Well, we've got a goodnight thread so let's have a good morning one as well.

    Good morning everybody
Me and the dog have had our morning constitutional and shortly I shall be venturing forth to the big Tesco to do my fortnightly shop. When I get home I've got 3 hours work related admin and paperwork to do

The weather here is a bit nippy but at least there's no fog.

OH has had a letter from their 'Business review centre' which we suspect is a scam.

There's a thread about it, and the general consensus is this.............

It is NOT just down to Apple iOS and it is NOT just new posts.

    I think Cornucopia is correct.

THIS POST dates from 2011 and was last edited in 2012. It has never been edited on an iOS platform. It displayed OK for nearly 6 years but in the last couple of weeks it is filled with problems.

8216 is left double quotation and 8217 is right double quotation but only the ASCII neutral (vertical) quotation marks are acceptable now. The same is true with 8211 En Dash which is not allowed but hyphen and Em Dash are OK.

If you copy text into your posts from other sources including Word, Wordpad and other websites you can also get the problem where you have used punctuation that MSE no longer recognises.

    Good Morning all.
Can't, won't, and definitely don't sleep any longer, so got up.
Nice present of mouse (dead) by sofa this morning. That's what comes of restoring entry as well as exit rights to the cat door.
