Well, we've got a goodnight thread so let's have a good morning one as well.

    Good morning everybody
Me and the dog have had our morning constitutional and shortly I shall be venturing forth to the big Tesco to do my fortnightly shop. When I get home I've got 3 hours work related admin and paperwork to do

The weather here is a bit nippy but at least there's no fog.

Morning all, plan for today is taking some of the huge pile of hedge cuttings up to the local composting centre, as I can get my van in there, whereas the council tip won't let me in, because "rules!" I can't use my car as it's a two seater that can get a couple of bags of shopping in the load space, so would take me about 500 trips and a make huge amount of pollution / carbons driving back and forth

When I've done that, or if it decides to rain, I've got an Italian article to translate into English for my class.

Good morning, all. Windy here, my sweet peas are looking battered. I'll pick what I can, then cut the tangle down.

You forget, I've had several weeks of watching the re-runs of When the Boat Comes In, so my ear has tuned in!

The last three episodes were last Saturday.

Mind you, the last series wasn't nearly as good, as it wasn't really about Gallowshields any more, just about Jack Ford wheeling and dealing in London, really.
No mention of Ma and Da', or Tom, and only fleeting visits by Billy and Jessie. Plus some rather uncharacteristic personality changes! Still, that apart, it was a stonking series.
