The Good Morning Thread 5th Apr 14 at 6:17 AM
Well, we've got a goodnight thread so let's have a good morning one as well.

    Good morning everybody
Me and the dog have had our morning constitutional and shortly I shall be venturing forth to the big Tesco to do my fortnightly shop. When I get home I've got 3 hours work related admin and paperwork to do

The weather here is a bit nippy but at least there's no fog.

    Afternoon all
I won't be around next week, due to having no signal and being busy.

I succumbed this morning and turned the heating on for an hour.

The cold air in the house was making me wheeze.

    Howdy-doody tutti fruttis!

Met weather is correct so far for today!

I was wondering whether there were still any active coal mines in Britain, so I googled, and was reminded that the last deep coal mine closed at the the next if 2015.
    And then I found this.....

"On 21 April 2017, Britain went a full day without using coal power to generate electricity for the first time since the Industrial Revolution, according to the National Grid.[32]"

    Good morning, all.

I feel surprisingly chipper considering I drank nearly a bottle of Prosecco myself last night.

While OH was getting some wood for BIL and loading the car, I opened a bottle for sister and me. Five minutes later, OH came in with two glasses of prosecco for us - he'd opened another bottle!

    Very good, though!
