The Good Morning Thread 5th Apr 14 at 6:17 AM
Well, we've got a goodnight thread so let's have a good morning one as well.

    Good morning everybody
Me and the dog have had our morning constitutional and shortly I shall be venturing forth to the big Tesco to do my fortnightly shop. When I get home I've got 3 hours work related admin and paperwork to do

The weather here is a bit nippy but at least there's no fog.

    What's "Friday whoop"?

    Good Morning! I remembered!

    But I'm cold.

    Every morning this week.

Not really cold the rest of the day, just when I get up. Having a wash is getting to be an ordeal.

Do I turn on the heating to come on in the early morning for a bit?

It will probably get warmer again when the wind direction changes.

I have got my winter duvet out, so maybe I'll start using that. That's usually guaranteed to make the weather heat up again!

    It's nice and sunny here!

I went out the other day with my waterproof on as it was raining and I don't like carrying an umbrella.

In shops, with the heating on........ phew! The trouble with a waterproof coat is that you sweat inside it above a certain temperature.

Decision: wet on the outside? Or wet on the inside?

    Anyways, morning all

Besides which, my poorly leg might not like it, as it involves a couple of yards of crawling before I can stand up!

I do laugh at me sometimes!
I set my TV ready to play a recorded programme while I went and made my lunch, (I know it's early, but I eat when I'm hungry, not when the clock tells me to! ), and came back with my food, and pressed play. Had it in my head that I was watching one of the re-run episodes Of Star Trek Voyager, so was a bit puzzled when it showed a destroyed house with the caption 1940. Oh no, I thought, not another of those episodes when they go back in time! (I'm not keen on those).

Then the music started playing and I realised I hadn't set it to play Voyager, but Foyle's War!

    Silly old me!

Yes Pyx, the sun does indeed have his hat on today (so far).
Shame it's not windy so the balloon flights are cancelled

The sun is a bit shy in North Wales so far. Will he be peeping round the clouds like yesterday?

Morning all. I slept through the Today programme this morning. Looking forward to a lazy day with the papers. OH is 'official of the day ' today so will be at the rugby club early. Quick wash of kitchen and bathroom floors, then feet up and maybe a little chocolate treat!
