We have a what's irritating you thread, and I think we need a thread for things that have made us smile, etc.

Me - well, we have a puppy who is now 8 months. I let her out this morning and was hoping to keep the door open for her to come in. But it was too windy. I was stood by the door waiting for her, expecting to see her come down the steps.

I then heard a tap at the door. She'd come down the steps, which I hadn't seen and tapped to be let in. She also taps to go out.

Well, young fella-me-lad, what you do is, you click on the first Quick Reply icon you see, and that whizzes you straight down to the bottom of the page, in a flash!

Then, of course, you don't do a quick reply!

That Milo Yiannopolous has been outed as lying about losing his home because of Hurricane Irma.

Hopefully he can be prosecuted and made to pay a massive fine to the organisations helping those affected by it.

I had a lovely walk in the forest today with my dog. The sun was shining, we saw a herd of deer, and the pigs are out as it's pannage season

Had a brilliant moment where new-to-us pupil got to the punchline before we did - very happy moment!
I don't do training much, still have this "don't know enough to teach it" feeling, but sometimes it's just great to be in the room as lightening flashes.

Then spotted stocking filler lights in Lidl! Plus sweets in minion tins - always popular.

New Aldi has opened - will give Tesco Asda & Lidl some exercise! Browsed the introductory offers and acquired a few stocking treats - too busy and too late in the day to get the best of their fruit & veg, I suspect.

Son industriously hoovering as gf coming around - loo hall stairs & landing all showroom gleaming & I'm delighted he wants to put in the effort! As usually we're less assiduous with the damp dusting etc.. Three cheers for Love!

Just seen an ordinary dressmakers' tape measure described as an 'analogue tape measure'

And another 'ordinary' one described as having an 'analogue display'

There's a thread in DT about diarrhoea capsules that has morphed into a political discussion about Myanmar/Burma.
