We have a what's irritating you thread, and I think we need a thread for things that have made us smile, etc.

Me - well, we have a puppy who is now 8 months. I let her out this morning and was hoping to keep the door open for her to come in. But it was too windy. I was stood by the door waiting for her, expecting to see her come down the steps.

I then heard a tap at the door. She'd come down the steps, which I hadn't seen and tapped to be let in. She also taps to go out.

Sorry, as a Brit & trying to eschew Yank terminology, he doesn't study Math, but Maths or Mathematics. We're all fine at spelling & most of us got the Maths O level when we needed it, but the eldest is just stuck on the roundabout, so all help & support is happy news for us.

    Brilliant!

    Any more musical appliances?

I seem to remember that Gill had a very vocal fridge a while back?

My electric oven fan causes a lot of vibration on the adjoining worktops, and things start a-rattling like crazy. Perhaps that could be percussion accompaniment for something?

When our dog stayed at the kennels for the first time and came home with a high pitched bark for two days, I think she was imitating the dog in the next kennel!

Yep, transformer microwave cameras, just a fact of modern life.
