    Three cheers for Mrs Fruity!

Yup, baby Lun is a real beaut - I will get another foo photies reddy laterer if I get a chance.
If I do you'll see the hair which is one reason why I calls 'er a female Dennis The Menace.

It has been an expensive year Tips yes - but not all necessary more like "wants" really.
The bed mattress yes, necessary and we got a decent one.
But the cooker no, it was just that I saw the induction one really cheap & the oven on the old one wasn't good.
The fridge no either - but finding a decent 6' larder fridge on offer and even cheaperer coz I bought the oven, well .............
New tumble drier - nope either, & I reckon it's been used twice BUT it's summer.
    Me telly?
    Move on ................. (it's a "boys & toys" thing.)
But baby stuff is necessary, innit?

    Oh.
Am I keeping UK shops going all on my ownsome?

But the old boiler is a very apt description.
It has had quite a few new "bits" over the past few years & now it needs more, and we need a new hot water tank because this one has sprung a lickle leak, and ........... well you get the idea.

Like I said earlier, I'm starting to think it'll be cheaper to knock the place down and rebuild!
    New boilers are condensing.
Which means a pipe to take condensate away.
But it's a solid floor and an inside wall.
    Result = no cheap option.

    But that's enuff o' that!
    How is everypeeps?

Rosie, if you are after a little-lun of your own, why don't you borrow one of your stroppy teenagers for a weekend and see if you still feel the same way on Monday.

LUN, you bain't the only wun supporting UK busy-nesses.

The loft inversion is being done by local tradespersons and we have spent a small fortune on scaffolding rental, tree-wood for supports and framing, electrickery pipes and water wires, insultation, flooring, a bog and two sinks, plus some very expensive free range organically growed holes.

On top of that, all three cars have needed works doing upon them. *sigh*

Rosie, does the school do a breakfast club? They are very good for ensuring kids get at least one good meal a day.

Ooh a party. I shall go and break out my white corduroy flares this instance.

Fruity We do breakfast yes but has to be paid for and most of the kids get a free lunch. It's all parentpay now, parents put money on their child's account and they are only allowed a minimum spend daily. It's all done by finger print in order to reduce bullying
If they have breakfast they won't be allowed lunch as well. The School dinners are nothing to write home about either if I'm honest. The portion sizes are poor considering some of the boys are over 6ft with beards and look more like 22

2 little sausages frying in the pan
One went pop and the other went BANG!

    Or

I had a bonnie sausage, a bonnie bonnie sausage and I put him in the oven for my tea.
I went down to the cellar, to get my umbrella and the sausage ran after me.

their great nanny used to sing them to my kids and they still remember the strange songs she taught them.

Hello all, I'm a little late coz I was momento-box building. For Baby Lun - my better half gets them laser-cut but packed flat so I glue them ready for her to paint etc.
I will take a photo when it's done so you can see what I mean unless I finds a snap of the one she did for Daughter LUN the younger.
Think shoebox-sized box to store babies' special memories in.

Fruity of course you're supporting buzy ness too - in fairness probabubly much more than I am because you is supporting builder-type people and thus probabubly also the UK tea business on top PLUS ......... nah, we won't mention cars.
    *shudders*

    Rosie - another day nearer.
We can tell - you have regressed to preschool and started singing.

Enjoy your weekend in the knowledge your break from borstal school is nigh.

Tips, are you later? I've not decided what to have yet & I just ate too so ........... in a while crocodile.
