    Afternoonings to all
I see blue skies nothing but blues skies.

Fruity I know that barbers often ask if you want something for the weekend, but I don't think they meant hedge cutting. Sorry, I am in a mischievous mood today.

Sleazy I reckon you might be a snoozing now. So I will tease you later.

I took one of my sons when I was volunteering in the Dementia home yesterday.
One of the elderly ladies there asked if she could marry him.
I will sell him to you for two camels and a sheep I said.
The whole room was in fits of laughter. It is nice to know that in spite of memory loss, they still have a sense of humour.

    Laterers

Finally, the hedges are done, 'cept I haven't picked up the clipperings yet. I might do that this evening if it cools orf a bit.

Cupbard also cleared out ready for the wireman to start.

Luncheon has been consumed and I now have dishwasher hands from the aftermath.

This avo my Lovely and I will be writing up all the family medical conditions in advance of taking out travel inn-sewer-ants. It won't be cheap.

    TTFN and take cares all.

*I do hope Miss Chievous keeps out of trouble today.*

Hi Fruity - Do I have a new name?
You should read my earlier post on here.
Travel insurance - I have heard that the Post Office don't ask so many questions.
Did you ask you House and Contents company for a quote?
They did the best deal for us.

I can probably think of a name for you for most occasions. I came up with quite a few nicknames for colleagues at work.

    I have read back.

We were with the PO previously but let it lapse due to all my medical appointments that prevented us travelling last year.
The biggest problem will be Uncle/FiL as he is in a worserer state than me, although I have gone from no problems to severe problems in one go.

I will try our house insurer but fully expect to be using two different companies as we had to in the past because we needed a specialist co for the Outlaws because of their ages.

Firstly any of you can call me what you like - I have said it before, just as long as you don't call me late for dinner.
Is there not a board for Travel Insurance? There must be.
I do understand about the age problem and it won't be cheap. But can you imagine not having it!
I did read that some of the victims of Grenfell Tower did not have insurance!

I saw on a T shirt, Do not ask what can your country can do for you, the question is, what's for dinner?

Mrs F told me to stop monkeying around and do something useful.

Ellie offered to help me make some more egg mayo salad cream but she was disappointed when I didn't need a professional taster.

By the way, what is the difference between mayonnaise and salad cream? It's certainly not the taste as far as I can tell.

I don't think I am allowed to post which Insurance company we use.
I can PM it to you if you want. But I am sure you would have found something now.

To be more specific, I think the difference is the label.

I've just had to go home to find the dates we will be away. Although we are away for a mumf, only about two weeks will be in the Republic.

It's not actually that expensive. Driving, staying the odd few nights in hotels, and the rest of the time in holiday cottages. Anyway, we only had a one week hollier last year and none but a mini-break this year.

Previous years have been one or two hols in the UK and three weeks in the USA/Canada. Since the kids left home we seem to have had more money to spend on ourselves.

How about you? Are you having a holiday this year?
