I normally only drink alcohol twice a week as medically advised. I am also on a fluid limit of 2 Litres per day. I normally drink beer so if I have two bottles I have to substitute it for other drinks.
It means I have to plan everything I drink. I can't just decide to have a couple of beers because it would put me over my fluid limit for the day.

I like a reasonably strong beer, around 5% abv. That means about 95% of the drink is water.

Well contrary to some forum members belief - I only drink twice a week.
I just looked at my wine 9%!
I am sure you will get used to working out your intake of fluid, TBH I can have just as much fun without alcohol.
    Does your lovely drink alcohol?

We had to measure all the cups and mugs so I know what combinations will make up my daily total, but it isn't difficult now we are used to it.

She drinks the odd glass of Ice Wine or a small shot of Disarano, so maybe three or four boozy drinks a year.

Do you have any weekend plans? Tomorrow we will do a bit more loft clearing then Sundegg we have family around for father's day. I am not actually a fan of made up celebrations but it's an excuse to for a get together.
We shall be breaking the news to my Cousin/SiL about moving her parents in with us.

Oh, so your lovely is a sensible lady.
Weekend plans of course - faffing around as a family in the garden.
I am glad you agree with me about made up celebrations.
We will keep quiet about that.
You and your lovely really do remind me of my family - we take care of those we love.

I have always been a family man. It's how I was brought up. I'm guessing the same applies to you.

See now, you have admitted that women faff as well as men.

    Gotcha.

Yes, of course, we ladies faff.
I faff around in our large freezer - as I forget what is in there.
No, I wasn't brought up to care - I did the complete opposite to my selfish parents.
My hubby is the same - we care because others are selfish.
My Twins are the same as us, so the caring can now change generations to come.
My younger brother now passed away, used to say I was a mug. But I cannot change the way I am.
You cannot teach an old dog new tricks.

Then more respect for you for not following your parent's ways.

You care because it is the right thing today. Somebody has to care for others or there would be an end to society as we know it.

I have an older brother. If he visits R Mar twice a year it would be lot.

That is sad Fruity, but so many are that way.
I have 7 BIL's only one, my hubby visits his Mar.
I have to say my that my MIL was not the nicest to me before she had dementia, but I am not a person to hold grudges. She always wants to give me a kiss even though I don't think she now remembers me.

Dementia is a horrible disease, but I fear we are dragging the Arms down from it's jolly status.

Let me tell you a story about my Auntie/MiL to try and lift the mood.

She was staying with us a few years ago with her previous dog that was blind. Outside our backdoor is a person-hole cover for the sewer and foul water drain. I often use it when I am pooper scooping.

On this occasion the lid was off while I was on the other side of the garden. Auntie/MiL came out of the house backwards leading her dog because it was unfamiliar with our garden.
I shouted to warn her that the trap was open but she didn't hear me. In the end I had to run across the garden shouting all the time until I managed to stop her just before she fell down the hole.

Can you imagine the call to Dynorod? What is the nature of your blockage?

    It's my Mother in Law!

OMG if it was me, I would be down that hole.

My hubby has joined Facebook, not me, but my new phone was used for the messaging.I have no idea what I was doing today when I made a video call to a complete stranger.

I joined fakebook because the kids insisted. Apart from contacting a friend in America because we couldn't do it any other way, neither of us are fans and generally steer clear of it.
I just hope when you made the call you were fully clothed.

My Lovely had to buy a new 'phone because hers got washed in the sink. Today I tried to answer it whilst it was on charge but couldn't work out how. Eventually I had to rush it to Mrs F and she couldn't work out how to answer it either ... until she realised it was an alarm not a 'phone call.

I tell you, mobile 'phones and pooters will never catch on.

It took me ages to fathom out how to work these new phones.
    I kept cutting off calls.
Yes, I was dressed, but the caller didn't understand why a female was calling from a male username.
It is invaluable for keeping in contact with friends in other countries.
I am like a kid with a new toy now.
I will need to recycle all our old phones - I wonder if there is a badge for that.

I wonder if there is a badge for successfully using a new fangled 'phone, or a badge for mucking it up in a memorable way?

I think all new 'phones should come with a teenager in the box to set it up for us.

Well it is now tomorrow all ready, so I am going to do a final tour of the parking forum then head off to bed.

Thanks for keeping me company again. It is always a pleasure.

    G'night m'dear and take care.

    Hellooooo peeps

You thought you got rid of me didn't you. didn't get any relaxing time to join in yesterday my MIL had other ideas for me. If there isn't a drama in this family she will make damn sure she creates one. Couldn't post whilst I was in a mood anyway.

Sorted now, I have lifted the carpet and swept all of her carp underneath it Cant be doing with a DH who bows down like a 2 year old to an interfering controlling woman. ( except me of course) Maybe one day he will grow a pair and stand up for himself.

Anywayz the sun is meant to be a blazing today. Managed to get me a little sunburn last weekend and wont be doing that again.

LUN - has the stork arrived yet? if its anything like our postal service we'll be waiting a while yet.

Fruity - I totally agree about having a teenager to help with phones, I am useless and have only just discovered facetime. I here talk off snapchat, Instagram etc it goes right over my head

Tips - I too have a freezer that I call my dinner surprise keeperer. We never know what's in there until I decide to venture in there or what you will find. So we call it surprise dinners. Its a big chest freezer and you have to lean in it to see anything. I'm just a pair of legs hanging out when I try to reach the bottom.
    That picture of the dog

I wonder if this freezer is big enough for MILs (now there's a thought, runs off to find tape measure) hehehehehe

Squeezy - I get the impression you missed me. If you like gardening I know of one that could do with a tidy up. We could job swap for a week. Ill scrub for you if you weed for me.

also all this talk of alcohol, I don't drink very often. Many years ago in my 80s clubbing days I could quite easily put some away to the point where I would go to bed and the room was spinning I used to wait for the bed to spin past and then jump on LOL. Special occasions I may be partial to a brandy or 2 but NEVER wine ewwwww

Hope you are all sharing this luvvly sunshine with me and have a nice weekend planned.
