We took Ellie for a play day with the Outlaws' dog so she wouldn't get upset by the work persons. She are back home now and hasn't noticed anything amiss because the scaffolding is all built off the roof of the extension so there is nothing at her level to investigate.
Phase one of the loft conversion has is now complete. E-mails to coordinate phase two all sent.

I did half an hour clearing out said loft and found some old photos and school reports of my Mum when she lived in Oz. I am going to see if the school still exists, and if so, see if they want the docs wot I have gotted.

My lappy is tuned in to LUN News, but there is currently no signal.
I married my cousin. I had to...

I'm back and also waiting for news from LUN.

That is good that Ellie can't see the scaffolding - Ooh she would not like it.
Glad that you are making good progress Fruity. I am so excited about your loft findings.
As you know I love history and family tree stuff.

Sleazy my sweet - Bush trimming? Does that mean you used some electrical fascinator for the job?

I hope Moti is having a lovely evening.

For all those eagerly awaiting the news ................... there is still none.
    Apple ogees all.
DD has been told that if it's still a no-show on the 21st they will "start her off". Now I'm not sure what that means and on reflection I don't wanna know. But one thing is certain; no baby has ever stayed put.
    Or has it ? ? ? ?

Nanny has been and had a couple of scans - and now she knows what's wrong with her!
Nuffink life threatenening, or at least not immediately. A hernia.
Now we wait for doctor to receive info before they decide what to do.
Monday = another Nanny outing, this time for eyes IIRC.

If we could only get doctors to be so diligent with Mrs LUN we would be happy - but nope!

So, we is still waiting for the stork although there is tell of arrival on Fathers Day.
Which is fine so long as it doesn't ruin Sunday Dinner.

Thank-you for letting us know LUN.
Poor Nanny a hernia that is not nice.
I bought some strawberries from Tesco today - grown in Kent.
They were lovely with extra thick cream. When I lived in Kent we went strawberry picking just once.
So I guess I'll keep the champagne for another day or so - well unless you need some now?

Sleazy are you being really good on a Friday? I was thinking Pimms no 5.
How is Bobby today - no more headless birds I hope.

Fruity you need to let me know which day Josephine wants to play.

    Laterersersers

It will be nice for you both to have some extra space.

We have kept this thread going and now at long last, we have some others.

I normally only drink alcohol twice a week as medically advised. I am also on a fluid limit of 2 Litres per day. I normally drink beer so if I have two bottles I have to substitute it for other drinks.
It means I have to plan everything I drink. I can't just decide to have a couple of beers because it would put me over my fluid limit for the day.

I like a reasonably strong beer, around 5% abv. That means about 95% of the drink is water.

Well contrary to some forum members belief - I only drink twice a week.
I just looked at my wine 9%!
I am sure you will get used to working out your intake of fluid, TBH I can have just as much fun without alcohol.
    Does your lovely drink alcohol?

We had to measure all the cups and mugs so I know what combinations will make up my daily total, but it isn't difficult now we are used to it.

She drinks the odd glass of Ice Wine or a small shot of Disarano, so maybe three or four boozy drinks a year.

Do you have any weekend plans? Tomorrow we will do a bit more loft clearing then Sundegg we have family around for father's day. I am not actually a fan of made up celebrations but it's an excuse to for a get together.
We shall be breaking the news to my Cousin/SiL about moving her parents in with us.

Oh, so your lovely is a sensible lady.
Weekend plans of course - faffing around as a family in the garden.
I am glad you agree with me about made up celebrations.
We will keep quiet about that.
You and your lovely really do remind me of my family - we take care of those we love.

I have always been a family man. It's how I was brought up. I'm guessing the same applies to you.

See now, you have admitted that women faff as well as men.

    Gotcha.

Yes, of course, we ladies faff.
I faff around in our large freezer - as I forget what is in there.
No, I wasn't brought up to care - I did the complete opposite to my selfish parents.
My hubby is the same - we care because others are selfish.
My Twins are the same as us, so the caring can now change generations to come.
My younger brother now passed away, used to say I was a mug. But I cannot change the way I am.
