We don't have a pond but friends here also curse herons.
I didn't realise there were so many but we often see one.
    And storks.
    Just not when they're needed.

I has just been chattin' wiv a lickle robin - not our "usual" one but still friendly. Examining my herb garden, it was.
Maybe too friendly - it only had one leg.

LUN I always believed butter was better than Stork.
A one legged robin??? How did it perch????

Why do most car park attendants of the underground car parks, all walk with a lisp and talk with a limp?
Is it the lack of natural light, or are they all descendants of the Morlocks?

Good morning all and one. It's brighton sunny by here today, but with a cool breeze.

Another round of medical appointments today, this time for my Lovely, then it's back to loft clearing.

Hopefully some scaffolding will have grown by the time we return.

No comments about erections please. Stop sniggering at the back!

Four men came and had an ... put up choobs and boards for me. Unfortunately the satellite signal is now blocked as a result.
We will have to do everything on demand vs the internet now, which thankfully is not affected.

My Lovely was a bit pixalated at first because she had to be sedated, but she is stable again now.

Oh, dear Fruity your poor lovely - Glad she is settled now.
Satellite blocked!!!! Sue them - only joking.
We are thinking of getting a Smart TV, we have several old hard drive things but they keep letting us down. We of course then have to resort to the interweb and use the HD lead. We really don't watch a lot of TV so Sky is a no no. In my loft we still have an antique Betamax recorder, my Father brought it back from Saudi and we were the first in my neighbourhood to have a recording device.
LUN will laugh when I say we are only on episode 2 of Taboo, which was broadcast in Jan.

Now I was thinking of poor Ellie, when we had the new roof put on, the little whippet below, who doesn't like workmen, got her teeth into one of their trousers and would not let go. Just watching him trying to climb up, dog in tow was funny.

Talking of mist Sleazy, it is back, it is because the sea is just across the road.

What is it with these new sayings - Oh my Days! For me it would be - Oh my daze.

We took Ellie for a play day with the Outlaws' dog so she wouldn't get upset by the work persons. She are back home now and hasn't noticed anything amiss because the scaffolding is all built off the roof of the extension so there is nothing at her level to investigate.
Phase one of the loft conversion has is now complete. E-mails to coordinate phase two all sent.

I did half an hour clearing out said loft and found some old photos and school reports of my Mum when she lived in Oz. I am going to see if the school still exists, and if so, see if they want the docs wot I have gotted.

My lappy is tuned in to LUN News, but there is currently no signal.

I'm back and also waiting for news from LUN.

That is good that Ellie can't see the scaffolding - Ooh she would not like it.
Glad that you are making good progress Fruity. I am so excited about your loft findings.
As you know I love history and family tree stuff.

Sleazy my sweet - Bush trimming? Does that mean you used some electrical fascinator for the job?

I hope Moti is having a lovely evening.

For all those eagerly awaiting the news ................... there is still none.
    Apple ogees all.
DD has been told that if it's still a no-show on the 21st they will "start her off". Now I'm not sure what that means and on reflection I don't wanna know. But one thing is certain; no baby has ever stayed put.
    Or has it ? ? ? ?

Nanny has been and had a couple of scans - and now she knows what's wrong with her!
Nuffink life threatenening, or at least not immediately. A hernia.
Now we wait for doctor to receive info before they decide what to do.
Monday = another Nanny outing, this time for eyes IIRC.

If we could only get doctors to be so diligent with Mrs LUN we would be happy - but nope!

So, we is still waiting for the stork although there is tell of arrival on Fathers Day.
Which is fine so long as it doesn't ruin Sunday Dinner.

Thank-you for letting us know LUN.
Poor Nanny a hernia that is not nice.
I bought some strawberries from Tesco today - grown in Kent.
They were lovely with extra thick cream. When I lived in Kent we went strawberry picking just once.
So I guess I'll keep the champagne for another day or so - well unless you need some now?

Sleazy are you being really good on a Friday? I was thinking Pimms no 5.
How is Bobby today - no more headless birds I hope.

Fruity you need to let me know which day Josephine wants to play.
