    It is nearly Afternoonings
Trying to remember all I have read here.

Fruity I can do exhausts, I was taught by hubby many moons ago. Well, maybe not now - but I can be pretty exhausting at times if that counts.
Where your socks inside out Fruity, that way they won't rub cos it is the stitching wot does it.

Sleazy I hope all goes well today. We do understand your humour here - so no need to apologise.
I am afraid that it is meds that put on the weight as they slow your metabolism down.
PS sorry but you are not an OAP, not in your 50s.

Now I am wondering if Mystic Tips was right today - The stalk for LUN?????

My thoughts with you Moti - don't work too hard.

Finally, I have been watching the News and was very saddened by the fire. My prayers today are with all those involved.

Afternoonings, watching the news and can scarcely believe that this could happen especially after a major refurb last year.
Like the tips about the socks - we could do that with all our clotheses methinks, thus doubling the time between washes, saving money and saving the planet.
Suitably stressed, but not too bad as was ecspected.
Remembered to make appointy-ment for eye test. Now just have to remembrings to acksherly go. (Friday 0850 peeps).
Now I must go-a-finding something that I've mis-a-placed, so hope to see you all laterers if I'm not too busy faffing around.

Sleazy, have you never heard of the five week undercrakers?
Week one, wear them the right way round as normal.
Week two, turn them back to front and wear them again.
Week three, turn them inside out but still back to front and wear them again.
Week four, turn them the right way round but still inside out and wear them again.
Week five, roll them up to make a thong and wear them again.
This is a money saving site after all.

I am now about to demonstrate to the whole world my culinary skills. I am going to ...
    boil some eggs.
After that I am going to make some seasoned egg mayo for my sandridges.

Tomorrow I shall be cooking some artisan Moroccan lamb sausingerlings.

    Who menshunned lamb?

Leg, chops, saws hedges ......... spiced, plain .......... I don't care.
    I love lamb!
Did I say that before, maybe?

Still no delivery via stork. Daughter is getting a little fed-up & friends telling her they were 2 weeks over is not helping.

Sad news about London again, I'm in agreement with Fruity.

Tips, I have been giving serious thought to your "faff" suggestion & TBH the nearest I come to faffing is with packing shopping.
Everything has to be just so, heaviest to the bottom and lightest to the top - no mixing cold and/or meat/dairy with veg or packets/cans etc etc.
Don't get me wrong, I still move - I can handle Aldi/Lidl speed.
I just don't see the point of having pancake bread because someone put a 10lb bag of spuds on top, see?

Hey Sleazy, I'll give yer a yell on Friday to remind you - it's some Nanny test day or other so we'll be up.
    Not on here, but up.

Oh, "Mega Maid" ......... I quite like it but why does that remind me of ice cream?

Moti, I told yer petrol stayshuns is dangerous places.
I had to larf at the silly person trying to get her car so the petrol cap was on the side next to the pump ........... and failing! that has been doing the rounds on Footbook.

Now, something for Fruity to ease his poorly footsies:

See, you need sunglasses to use these they're so totally like rad man!

    Laters all.

LUN today is not over yet - Stork may still arrive.
The shopping arrangements is deff not faffing, cos I do's that.
I did try one of those crazy things in pic - It just took off leaving me on the pavement.
Lamb yes I think we all know you love it - but thanks for the reminder.

I have just finished my very large shop and I am sat here din-dins cooking taking a rest.
I was only away a week and half the town shops have closed down!
Back to annoy you all laterers

    Good heavings all

Currently sat here watching the news like How very sad, my place of work has staff who have relatives there all ok as far as I know. The church attached to my school are doing a huge collection of clothes, household items, food, blankets etc and there's me moaning about having to work. Shame on me.

Loving fruities new vehicle . Give us a seater. That's what my brother used to give me on his chopper bike. Or a crossbar. How very old I am. The five week undercrackers love it. Let us know if it works Sleazy. Maybe when I start work at urs we can practice origami with your Y Fronts

LUN mega maid reminded me of merry maid sweets, toffee covered in chocolate in individual wrappers. Shame I can't eat toffee now

    Hi Moti Maid
I am sure Fruity has some strange contraption that looks like a loo on a lawn mower.

Mystic Tips uses Tarot - we had a thread last year.

I do think it is wonderful that we all come together in times of crisis.

Now, where is Squeezy? I feel in the mood for teasing.

The Beast is no longer zorsted. Meeting with R Mar's nursing team successfully completed. Shopping has been delivered and put away. Grass has had a haircut.

It's time for a rest with hand holding and TV watching.

Fruity the whole exhaust? Gosh, that WILL cost. It is a very special American beast, I hope all goes well.

You and your clowns Sleazy. My SIL used to collect ornaments of them, horrid things were all over her house - even one in the loo, that I accidentally on purpose smashed to bits.

Can I borrow that cat please - on a permanent basis?
    Keep the clowns though.

Moti I finks I rememberz that toffee yes, though as a Scot I preferred that toffee with coos on the front.

Lawn done here too, and lots in the garden after yesterdays spree.
Much though I hate to admit it, it's lookin' good so far.
Yes you read right, "so far".
    Not done yet.

Tomorrow I may not get much chance.
    Shame, that.
