I am sure I saw some skelly bones the last visit to Cheddar caves, with a gruesome story. I will have to Google as I really can't remember.
Anyway, I expect I would get my Stalactites laddered.

A speedy recovery to all poorly ones.

    Cheese and caves?
Methinks t'would be sons idea of heaven.

It has been sunny-ish here too, enough to dry the jungle-length grass enough to hack mow it.
I took another day off - nothing to do with OH being unwell, I just fancied being idle.

Which did not work becoz as well as trudging up and down soggy ground as wot I has been doodling today, it came wiv laundry and much cleaning under direction of my beloved.
Bedding changes, beds turned & the works!

My beloved though is the same.
    But bossier.
Thankfully (in some ways) lack of voice persists so sadly sometimes I don't hear quite what she says .............

I now smell of a luverly mixture of bleach, assorted cleaning liquids and mown grass.
Not very fetching from where I sit; I hear the bath calling.

Fruity, I am trying to avoid the dreaded cough.
    Still.
Though for the last few days my chest feels not dissimilar to how I imagine feeling after a few packs of ciggie things.
An odd splutter but no more so far.
I'm thinking that maybe more whiskey may discourage development of said cough?
So I will give that a go.

I'm liking the pic and the sentiment, Tips.
Though from here it looks like being a busy weekend; I may temper that with alcohol intake.

Yes, alcohol seems to be able to help along most weekends.

I have to tell you, as a young girl both my friend and I, were given Rum and lemon, by her Aunty, when we had sore throats. Goodness these days, the police would be at her door.

The Cough is an annual thing caused by a weakness in my trachea and reactive asthma. Luckily my chest is clear.

The antidote for The Cough is so strong that it precludes the consumption of alcohol.
The antidote for the cough medicine's unpleasant side effects has to be carefully monitored to prevent unpleasant side effects.

Quick nurse the screen, it's happened again.

We are having a day out today up into the far norf where "here be dragons" to pick up some stuff that MFTE has purchased online. Luckily both of us are improved enough to manage it.

We are off soonly so I need to check passports and inoculation records afore we depart.

Us had a luverly jaunt without across the border. The mission was a success and it was such lovely weather that we decided to come home the pretty way and stopped for a drink on the way back. I had a fandabidozy caramel hot choccy and a Eccles cake. B

Both were for medicinal purposes you understand. The hot drink was to sooth my froat, and the fruitiness of the cake was to help lessen loosen the side effects of my meds.

    Coo-ee.

Sounds like you've had a good day, Fruity.
I've never been to the southern regions of the land of the dragons.
I has however been to the north, coastal, for holidays and I LURVE them bits.
Around the bay of jumpers. Pullovers. You know.
The seaside-ey bits of snow done ya.

Tips's piccy of low sodium cheese is a big . I get reduced fat cheeses for the cheese monster whenever possible and our sodium intake is quite low, so he doesn't get too much.
    Not that I'm obsessive, mind.

Makes you wonder though, how we coped all them years ago.
With our sacks bags of sugary sweets, print-contaminated chip shop chips, playing in actual soil .........
I still smile at those carrying a bottle of water everywhere with them.
Because it's fact you can dehydrate within seconds here in the UK, innit?

    The logic is beyond me.
Public toilets close around the UK ........ so drink endless bottles of water ..........

Talking of which ............ we're back to cold and wet here.
Good job I gave the lawn its haircut yesterday.
    And the ducks are happy.

    Oh!
Him there in those photos looks like me, back when I had hair.
His jacket is fancier than mine for my kilt, too.
Maybe his cleft chin is more pronounced.
So ................ not much like me really, then.

    Have a great evening all.
    Tips, enjoy your Reisling.
Rum & lemon ......... well I like rum & coke or rum & orange, so but see earlier about changing times. Daft really, innit?
Tonight for me though will be a nice Sauternes I think.

    Ah well.
Again, have a great evening all.
