Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel 16th Aug 13 at 8:47 AM
    Hello,

It is that time again for a new thread as the old one is about to approach its 150th page.

Thanks to sarah1972 for posting the last thread

Please note in post number two there is now a list of FAQ that had been asked a lot through the old thread. I thought this would be useful too add because of the same question coming up page after page.

    Happy Posting

I have just recieved an e-mail I guess at the end of my trial to say they are over subscibed and want to pause for a few weeks. Does that mean I didn't pass ? Was on holiday when the first letter needed posting and e-mailed to tell them I had posted late was told that was fine as long as I recorded it on right day. Am I waiting and watching for new start date or look for something else ?

You've done nothing wrong,,,its just the way the numbers stack up sometimes.
It happens quite a lot and has no reflection on you
participating in frugal October...£45.59 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
    November spend £41.01 of £40
Am I brave enough to track what we spend on Dec/Christmas food.....

I'd like to reiterate what LEJC said, it's no reflection on you, they (TNS) over subscribe sometimes. Some of the previous threads say how some people finish the training period fine (or even be on the 'live' panel part way through their six month stint) and be told their first posting pack is on its way and then the very next day get an email like yours telling them they've been put on hold as their area is oversubscribed. Then, within days sometimes, get another email welcoming them back onto the panel! The world that is TNS can be a topsy turvy one at times!
Don't lose hope though, I'm sure you'll hear from TNS soon welcoming you to the panel
Even with the training manual and the FAQ's section of the website, some things regarding lots to do with the survey aren't always very clear. That's why I really appreciate this forum because you can post the trickiest or simplest of questions and have your mind put at rest without judgment or feeling silly!!
    Take care,
    C x

I have just phoned them, they have no idea when it will be fixed.
They have IT guys working on it, and even they can't get on there at the moment
they vaguely suggest trying again this afternoon.

    Glad it's not just me!

That's typical - I get a few quiet minutes while my baby is playing and the website won't work! Grr!

My last sender pack arrived yesterday, along with 2 more books of stamps and a Great Fire of London presentation pack. I'll miss all the post box diversions on the way to work.

I will complain to TNS to ensure everyone is being asked to send/receive the same amounts.
