my daughter has just turned 18 and i was waiting for a letter to come about claiming her trust fund that was set up when she was born [GOVERNMENT ONE ] 1994
Away it hasnt come and ive had a horrible thought that when we moved 12 years ago i may not of changed my address .
I cant find any old letters so dont know who to contact about it .
Does anyone know where i should start .
So far ive only contacted one company 'the same company that hold a trust fund for my 6 and 8 year old ,they dont have a record of my eldest daughter and my 14 year old son [who i have also lost .he was born in 1998

On engaging brain I realise Child Trust Funds were introduced for children born after September 2002 so if you set something up for her it can't be that. But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

Have you tried writing a letter to the owner of your old address asking if they have received any post for you and leaving your phone number?0

OP do you mean some sort of insurance company/ Friendly Society bond?
Were you making regular payments - if so your bank account should show?
Or do you mean Children's Bonus Bonds through N Sand I?
Or did you put a lump sum into a Building Society account?0 -

It's a shame the bank you spoke to didn't twig that there couldn't have been a CTF for a child born in 1994.0
