Does anyone know What the % of meat content is in the sausages? Do they taste ok on it's own or maybe for sausage roll or scotch egg?

My daughter and I love Lidl sausages, either their Irish ones or the Cumberland ones. I have read on here somewhere that Lidl sausages have a high proportion of meat-water but I'm afraid I cannot remember what it is.

Dont bother with em they taste like dogfood. Go to your local butcher and pay a pound more.
Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives.

The Irish Recipe Sausages in Asda are on offer at 1 for 454g (37% meat content).
The last sausages from Lidl the other week were Hazelmead 74p.... 72% meat.
