It's already linked to dailies, not sure what you want to do about duplicating here and in the Dailies thread. We can now start the traditional argument about what defines an Advent comp
Thanks for this one, I'm wondering because it's in Dailies and finishes before December (although it's Christmas related) maybe I shouldn't add it in here and should just leave it solely in the Dailies?

All of the others have either started now and finish in December or start on 1st December and end just before Christmas.

Maybe that should be the definition for comps in this thread?
Huge thanks to all comp posters!

Weekly draw, week 1 current now. small effort required

thread here - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/....php?t=4279553
Thanks, I can see from the terms that the final end date is 16/12, would you be able to change the thread to have that end date please?

I don't really want to have to keep changing the link in here and as it would be listed under Weekly Advents I think it would be ok not to post a different thread for it every week?

(I'll PM this as well just in case you don't see it in here )

Thanks for posting, this one will need a thread posting for it, it's on my to do list for later if no one else does it in the meantime.

Thanks, this ones the same as the Debenhams one so I'll PM the OP (priorslee) with an end date request change.
Huge thanks to all comp posters!

hiya,
having run last years thread, can i just say that i would not add these to the advent thread, you are absolutely right in that they end even before december and when usual advent calendars kick off

this is the dilemma i faced last year too, the definition of an advent, that isnt just a normal daily or ending sometime in december and i'm sorry i dont really have a definitive answer, but i kinda went by these guidelines

if its daily/weekly, has advent in the title, mentions 12 weeks of xmas, 12/24 days, or generally starts 23/24/25/Nov with 30 days of giveaways, or similar starting 01/12 and ending 23/24/25/Dec then it would go in here, otherwise it would just be a normal daily/weekly run competition by the company

i hope this helps give you a base for what is or isnt and advent and GL

Thanks Bargainhuntergal. Having a link to an actual thread in MSE makes it much easier. Good luck for the next 6 weeks (or 7/8 weeks giving any comps that actually run for the proper 12 days of christmas) running this thread.

(PS I haven't thanked your above post as I plan to go through this post on 1st Dec to catch those that have been posted already so will thank then along with all the others I will start entering that day. I will only forget about them if I thank them now)

16/11 Win an organic whisky (FB)

http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/....php?t=4287407

Sorry if I've got this wrong. But think this is a once only for xmas as the company has message to say:

"We will make the draw for this on Friday of this week. In terms of everyone's chance of winning, we have a total of 6 bottles of 'The Organic' to give away before Christmas so we will be repeating the competition several times over the coming weeks. Those who have already liked the page will be entered into future competitions as well."
Okay I'm lost inside my brain again...

Hi bargainhuntergal
imho i would say this is just a standard competition that is running weekly and happens to end in december, are you going to put it in here or should we add it to the regular weekly thread ?

I don't mean to bump or anything, but I wasn't around doing this last christmas.

Are you basically editing your labelled posts bargainhuntergal by putting in the new comps that people have put on here?

Hi,

Sorry for the lack of updates this week, I've been madly trying to catch up with the main board as posted before December creeps up on us while trying to keep up with ending comps too for the newly posted ones, then I was out all day yesterday, soooooo exhausted but will update the thread at some point today, bear with me!

Thanks
Huge thanks to all comp posters!
